I think I found a way. It will take a while.

@kappachungus, instant cast had a very weird behavior with Don't Starve Alone, and at that time (like 9 months ago) I was not able to make it work, so I unfortunately I was forced to disable instant cast altogether for worlds with Don't Starve Alone.
Perhaps it's about time to revisit this issue.

@Remi I don't know if this has been reported already, but while playing on a world using Don't Starve Alone, the instant cast on hotkeys stops working, the hotkeys still work, they just don't instant cast anymore (and i've tried with all instant and configurable, only tested on Willow though so don't know if it's maybe character specific?)

Should be fixed now.

@cristi20404, thanks for the report! Woby glows so that you can access her commands while in dark, however using Don't Starve Alone or hosting a caveless world make that light also protect against Charlie. I will have to remove the light for those cases.

(Also it's funny to see them steal someone's code for the only game they have reviewed...that they reviewed NEGATIVELY for????) I'm curious to see if their other workshop items are actually their code....

I already found the cause; it was a conflict between mods that use widgets and HUDs on the screen. I disabled it, and it went back to normal. The crashing stopped.


Can you add an instant cast for Walter with the "Thulecite slingshot frame" by right-clicking?
It's different from the other slingshot frames...
It's annoying having to right-click and then left-click.
It's an ability that Walter can use instantly; there's no need to wait or charge in this frame.

@Shynaid, the mod has nothing do with the crash. It doesn't affect lobby screen in any way, and isn't even mentioned in the error mesaage.

@Greywanderer, the mod doesn't interfere with the process of placing objects in any way, so it's unlikely it causes built-in geo placement to break. I'll a look at it later, just in case.

As for Woby glowing, it can't be "fixed" for it's an intended feature, however I can add a toggle for it.

Woby Started glowing after installing the mod. Is there a way to fix this? I don't mind not being able to pull up the wheel while she's in darkness.

You need to download and enable that mod in order to make changes to the config.
