@thebhaskar07 if you do any Targ play throughs outside the unoffical bookmarks , you can still get the items by console command them, I did in a unoffical dance of dragon bookmark to get the dagger and so on. :)

Hi, I was wondering if the Rediscover Artifacts work with the Bookmark mods (AGOT Bookmarked/AGOT More Bookmarks). Every time I start a bookmarked mod start date as a Targaryen the Rediscover Artifacts decision never pops up. While in the normal AGOT bookmark they always pop up.

Is there some way to do the rediscover as a landless character? Or can i change something in the mod's file to make it so?

Maclunkey A user was kind enough to donate some code for that decision, but I don't think 209 was included. I can't promise it in the near future.

For the book visuals game rule, that will come next month with the new DLC.

I don't want to add it now, as it can break existing saves.

I absolutely love this mod and it's a must have for my load order. Is there any possibility you would add the ability to find targaryen artifacts with the antiquarian during the 209 AC bookmark? Being able to find aegon's dagger, crown, and a bunch of the other crowns would be really nice coming from someone who's playing primarily during 209 lately. Thanks for all your work on this mod :)

It would also be really nice if we could get extra game settings for artifact visuals. I'd love to have the choice between show/book visuals separate between crowns and swords. For example, I'd like to have aegon's book crown but have the valyrian swords from the show.

@djonesball1723 you have to wait a in game day for it to appear. It spawns after game start for compatibility with other mods.

@Jedi I commented before but I am still having trouble with Aegon's dagger not appearing in my game. I removed More Bookmarks which did not help, even going to different bookmarks in just the main AGOT mod which include Jaehaerys and Viserys and yet it still does not appear. My mod order goes as follows:

Armor of the Kingsguard
AGOT - Crowns of Westeros
Valyrian Steel
Legacy of the Dragon
Change Character Appearance
Warden Vassal Contract

For some reason I still can't recover Blackfyre with the rediscover mechanic.

Ok, now I know why Aegon's dagger and the Baratheon Hammer weren't appearing, it was because I was using the mod "more bookmarks" https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3270043200&searchtext=bookmarks
so if I wanted Aegon's Dagger and the Baratheon Hammer to show up when I played as Jaehaerys, I'd need to go through the AGOT bookmark start-dates rather than the "More Bookmarks" mod startdates

Hi @Jedi, has something happened to Aegon's Dagger and Orys Baratheon's Hammer artifacts? cos they're not appearing in-game. If this is a mod-compatibility issue are there any specific mods that aren't compatible with your mod?

@Crazy there is no overlap. The mechanics do not interact.

what are the artifact ids Aegon and Jaehaerys's crowns for those of us starting from conquest?

That's understandable plus a bunch of the artifacts exist in those start dates anyway. Also I've noticed a bug recently where every artifact is spawned in through the rediscover mechanic except Blackfyre and the one I get before I should get it is endlessly duplicated. Thanks for replying to me as well.

@ryanwmmcg its really challenging for me to maintain it for a bunch of bookmarks. I won't rule it out, but it probably won't happen soon.

Tiny bug with the mod right now, in the new Defiance of Duskendale bookmark Aerys II starts with the Crown of the First Son yet can still recieve a duplicate through the Recover Targaryen Artifacts decision.

Could you add the game rule, that alters only one of the swords? I would love to have vanilla Blackfyre and show Dark Sister.

Doesn't seem like House Blackfyre is able to reclaim the artefacts if they become king/head of the Targaryen dynasty. Shouldn't the decision be tied to being dynasty head rather than House head instead? Maybe it's something wrong on my end.

Would you consider adding compability for bookmark submods? There are two options for playing the conquest, and it would be neat if Aegon would start with his dagger, and the Qoherys with theirs in that setting.

Should be fixed, I enabled it for the dunkensdale bookmark.

I have the same issue as Albert, the decision did not appear for me in the Defiance of Duskendale bookmark as Rhaegar. This was both before and after ascending the throne.

Could you please add the decision "Recover Targaryen artifacts" to the new bookmark "Defiance of Duskendale"?

@Jedi what are the odds you could create a unique valyrian steel sword for House Belaerys? While I am aware they are an "extinct" house in the canon, it'd be neat to start seeing "legacies" of valyria be potential finds with ties to the dragon lord of old valyria. Things like a bastard/long sword for house belaerys, or a greatsword for house varezys.

I notice this adds a great system for Valyrian coats of arms, but that you can't actually use the sigils/emblems yourself. Is it possible to unlock these for use in the coa designer?

I have the same issue as below. The valyrian clothes no longer load into the game at all, characters will be nude instead of wearing them and they're not even present in the barbershop.

Hello Jedi Master, the Valyrian costume option has suddenly disappeared recently. The characters are all naked. What could possibly be the cause of this? How to fix it? This should not be due to a conflict with the clothing module, as I did not install any clothing modules.

Love the mod and have been having a lot of enjoyment from the visuals it provides, however I noticed a issue from the newest update. Now whenever I start with the mod selected, the dragons models disappear. Narrowed it down by only enabling AGOT, Subcore and just this mod.

Alright yeah. Initially I wasn't seeing any swords but since the last couple of patches I am seeing some but not others. I figured I would double check on it so thanks for letting me know.

This is a base game issue.

So I know you said that the sword issue is a result of the base game, but I am now witnessing visuals for some swords in character portraits and not others. For example, I can see Heartsbane and the Velaryon sword being held by their respective owners, but if I take them and equip them they are still generic. Blackfyre and Dark Sister are still generic regardless of who holds them. Is the base game still requiring a fix or am I experiencing issues with my submods?

Question 1) Maybe in the future I'll add some game rule to that. Not sure.

2) Clothing is randomized, I don't want to replace base game ones so youll see them randomly.

Amazing work with the mod, I love the shows design of the swords, the outfits suit the Targaryens much better than the base mod. My question is twofold:

Would you ever consider splitting the crowns and swords as separate game rules, much like Pincer and Seafoam are separate. I love the swords, but there's something leathery about the show's Aegon I's crown and prefer the Valyrian Steel circlet with rubies.

Do modders have control over what outfits are set as the default outfits when creating custom characters? Would the AGOT team be able to force a High Valyrian cultured character to only be able to select from your outfits for example? I understand you can set your outfits with the barber shop, but it forces you to have to change into armour any time war is declared, a duel happens et cetera.

I've noticed a bug where instead of House Targaryen having House claims on the Targaryen swords Blackfyre and Darksister, instead its just two random Valyrian steel swords?

How do you get the Qoherys dagger? As far as I can tell there's no decision or anything access to it, though I did start as a wanderer.

This is a known issue from the base game. Swords will not appear right now for any mod.

Need to wait for a fix from Paradox.
