If we take Earth as an example: if the Gulf stream, which brings warm water from the Caribbean to Europe, was disrupted, Europe would cool down significantly. Also, just like greenhouse gases contribute to global warming, you can have aerosols causing global cooling. Don't ask me for details, I'm not a climate scientist. But it could of course be that they dabbled to much with aerosols and disrupted global streams, putting their world on a path to global cooling, with the ever growing ice sheets accelerating the process. But I'll leave further details up to you if you want to roleplay with them :).

Unless the "climate crisis" in the Oti homeworld was caused by an asteroid hitting them and causing a nuclear winter, I don't see how their planet could have turned into a frozen hell hole.

I was thinking about doing that once I'm done with all the separate mods. It won't replace all these separate ones, for I do want people to be able to just pick and choose, but since you're the second person to ask about it, I surely plan to do it.

Are you planning on making an all-in-one version for these mods maybe? love the idea regardless
