Anyone finding this mod or using this mod currently, I suggest trying my new performance graphics mod. It reduces the visuals of nebulas and storms without completely disabling them. And in my experience gives me just as big of an FPS boost on my 12 year old laptop as this mod does.

@user, you might've already figured it out, but if you want the keep space storm graphics you can copy the mod to your own mod folder and just delete the _system_effects_entities.gfx file in the mod

But, what if i wanted to remove only the system view nebula graphics, and keep the space storm effects? Is there a simple way to do it?
