Some good things here, but a bit unbalanced. We had 1300 zombies on the first level. Looking forward to the last level being completed.

looking good so far, just too hard, because of many special infected, maybe put more pills and health stuff, sometimes i felt lost, but it wast not a big of a deal

The campaign feels quite messy what with endless waves of zombies and multiple SI swarming you. But at the same time, it feels kinda fun and doable...? I think it's thanks to the bot nav being surprisingly good despite the routes being complicated.
I was having a good time, but then my game crashed at that barn at the midpoint.
I wouldn't really recommend it to anyone at its current state, but I can see this campaign becoming great upon some further adjustments.

I understand. I prefer it this way, honestly. I'm fine with abandoned campaigns as long as I know their creators are still around and are doing fine. They stopped developing the campaign because they didn't feel like continuing rather than other external factors. Life is tough, sadly. And for ShotgunFX's case, it seems he's been really busy with work.

If the time comes that he returns to L4D, he's welcomed with open arms.

and this campaign itself not updated for about 5 years
but we used to communicate long ago in the past
he let me upload it into "Game Maps"
since he appeared to vanish, I removed him as a friend long ago
had tried to re-add him back, so he's been pending for even longer
like you said yourself, this was indeed most likely abandoned
i know some other map authors who could maybe finish it up
even if we can't match his vision, it could still get some kind of ending
"TimeLordMagnum" could maybe use it in one of his "mashups"
concern would be if we could find something to match its quality

But it seems ShotgunFX is still around. He uploaded two videos from Boston just a year ago. He probably just had no time with finishing the campaign or downright abandoned it.

And no, I totally do not have Google Maps open right now and looking through the places the campaign has.

Finally played the campaign, and I love it. Second map I will admit is too lengthy, but nevertheless never poses a challenge given how big the areas are. The respawn of special infected I find a bit too close to each other, but that could be from another campaign I have installed. Resources, on the other hand, are stingy - but you can find them off the beaten path, long as the team isn't on a rush.

I recognized that bar, Murphy's Law - and it's touching seeing real photos just behind the counter. I'm an absolute sucker for custom campaigns set in actual locations. It gives a sense of realism, and perhaps even immerses yourself because you are in locations where real people are in right now as we speak. There's this sort of "connection" even if you're only playing it within a videogame.

This is originally a project created by a user named "ShotgunFX"
They began this campaign (or at least released it) in April 2018
I remember being there helping him develop and beta test playthrough it
However, they went missing over the years
I decided to combine all separate VPK file parts together into one download
This might not see completion by the original author
However, with my great friend, TimeLordMagnums357, it can still be improved
We might combine it with other incomplete and abandoned maps
There's still a chance it might live on as an all-new mashup remix campaign
The challenge will be to find something matching its quality
