the mod will be updating soon, sorry for everyone for waiting so long, I am also added a new transmission that was made by Allison, it would be the Allison 9 speed transmission, you can see more information here [www.allisontransmission.com].

Just a little FYI, the revamp may take a bit, due to each transmission containing about 15 differential ratios and with having retarder and non retarder variants, a singular transmission would have about 30 copies of itself and when you have more than one transmission, well there would be a total of 270 transmission options to choose from, I am not sure when an update will drop, but just keep an eye out for it, so far I've gotten the TC10 and the 2500 completed, the 3200 close is currently being worked on!

I am getting rid of the Allison 10L1000 and GM 10L80 and replacing them with the Allison TC10 as the first gear ratio is greater than the both of the current ones, I am sure that the Allison TC10 will be more helpful when carrying loads due to the first gear ratio being higher.

Allison TC10 first gear ratio and last gear ratio > 7.40:1 | 0.86:1
Allison 10L1000 first gear ratio and last gear ratio > 4.54:1 | 0.63:1
GM 10L80 first gear ratio and last gear ratio > 4.70:1 | 0.64:1

yeah, I have noticed that the 4500 and 4700 don't have more than one differential ratio, it's just simply one ratio, from which mostly seen is 3.55:1
mayto Jan 16 @ 10:33am
oh and also more variants of the classic 4500 and 4700 RDS that is the most common allison on semitrucks, SCS has them but no variable differentials etc
mayto Jan 16 @ 10:32am
have you considered the Allison TC10? its a class 8 truck transmission

However if anyone is looking for a BeamNG version of this mod head here [beamng.com]
(OTR) 0xferd™  [author] Jan 16 @ 10:15am
Feel free to make any suggestions of what transmissions I should add this this mod, I do have some GM Transmissions on me, for example.

GM 4L60E, GM 4L80-E, GM 4T40E, GM 4T60E, GM 5L40E, GM 6L50, GM 6T30/40, GM 8L 45/90, GM 9T50

However these transmissions are usually seen in smaller automobiles instead of larger machines such as semi trucks.

No problem!
mayto Jan 16 @ 10:09am
thanks, excited for the update

@gnomegemini
I'll gladly do so when I complete it.

Each transmission will have about 15 differential ratios, having non retarder variants and retarder variants, the whole thing will of course be reworked.

Here is the differential ratios that I have chosen!

2.47, 2.53, 2.64, 2.85, 2.93, 3.08, 3.25, 3.36, 3.42, 3.55, 3.58, 3.70, 3.78, 3.90, 4.10

Just release it pls :-) It would be much appropriated :)

Actually I had a revamp pack for this mod that still exists on my computer, so I should be able to resume the revamp project of this mod.
(OTR) 0xferd™  [author] Jan 16 @ 6:28am
@Mayto
I can do that, I might revamp the mod to where you can have more than one differentials, what different ratio are you looking for btw?
mayto Jan 16 @ 5:56am
do you have plans to add versions with shorter differentials
SuperRecruit2000 Nov 1, 2024 @ 6:42pm
Add to Cascadia 5th-generation plz
Americantrucksimlover Aug 23, 2024 @ 8:08am
does this work with the international 9300ix9900i?
(OTR) 0xferd™  [author] Jul 24, 2024 @ 10:58am
yeah no problem!
gnomegemini Jul 24, 2024 @ 10:56am
Many thanks! Really appreciate it. Nice to know and get some knowledge about auto transmissions.

@gnomegemini

Sorry for late reply, about the torque multiplier, according to what I know.

Higher Stall Torque Ratio

A higher STR means the torque converter can multiply the engine's torque more effectively. This is beneficial for situations requiring high initial acceleration, such as drag racing or towing heavy loads.

Vehicles with a higher STR will have better off-the-line acceleration because more torque is being transferred to the transmission and wheels.

Typically, higher STR can lead to lower fuel efficiency during regular driving because the engine operates at higher RPMs to achieve the desired torque.
(OTR) 0xferd™  [author] Jul 23, 2024 @ 5:51pm
Lower Stall Torque Ratios

A lower STR means the torque converter multiplies the engine's torque less effectively. This might be less suitable for heavy towing or high-performance scenarios but can be advantageous in other conditions.

Vehicles with a lower STR usually have smoother and more gradual acceleration, making them well-suited for everyday driving and fuel efficiency.

Lower STR values often lead to better fuel efficiency during normal driving conditions because the engine operates at lower RPMs.
gnomegemini Apr 28, 2024 @ 2:22pm
What is the difference in torque multiplier value as they all cost the same? And as I tried them 65mph is at the same RPM for all of them: https://imgur.com/a/8PqHyLL

what transmission mode were you using?
Xenocide Dec 21, 2023 @ 2:15am
Wont shift out of 1st gear just goes to redline
(OTR) 0xferd™  [author] Dec 18, 2023 @ 6:15pm
sorry cannot, I do not know where original mod is from, the HEMTT mod is uploaded everywhere on lots of third-party websites, I downloaded it that way, but I was unable to find the original location of where it was first uploaded on.
Hybris Dec 18, 2023 @ 4:45pm
If I may ask can you provide a link to the HEMTT mod that started this mod?

I can do Mack R
Give me a second to add it, and the mod will be getting an update here soon.
RoyalAce2000 Nov 30, 2023 @ 11:50am
Any chances of adding the Mack R?
Cosette Nov 27, 2023 @ 5:49pm
its alright, it is what it is, no worries
(OTR) 0xferd™  [author] Nov 27, 2023 @ 5:48pm
I would love to do it, but however due to past experiences with the game causing the transmission to skip in automatic mode with more gears than it can handle, I would have to say that I won't be doing it.
Cosette Nov 27, 2023 @ 4:31pm
Alright, would love a 20-24 Allison though, but of u can't do it cuz of the game code then its alright
(OTR) 0xferd™  [author] Nov 27, 2023 @ 4:17pm
mostly just 6, 7, 8 and 10 gears
(OTR) 0xferd™  [author] Nov 27, 2023 @ 4:17pm
unfortunately no, I don't have any transmissions with 20 gears

I have tried in the past to make transmissions with 18 gears or more, but due to the automatic transmission mode skipping gears when having a transmission that has more gears than what the automatic transmission mode can handle.

I personally do not use any transmission with a 20 speed transmission as I find it a bit redundant, you can easily haul anything with a 18 speed transmission, depending on the gear ratios, differential ratio and if it has a retarder or not, your engine HP however plays a part of your transmission strength.
Cosette Nov 27, 2023 @ 4:06pm
Just curious is there any transmission wit 20 or so gears? I like to do heavy loads and I like high gear count, better for pulling

just wanted to say thanks to everyone who subscribed to this workshop item, and for up voting on this workshop item, as of the date 11/27/2023, the mod sits within 4th place.

I don't know if I have really ever had a mod that I created reach the 4th popular mod this week.
You don't know how happy I am to see this, thank you everyone who reads this!

yeah, I appreciate the offer for the fix.

Might add some more transmission options later in the future.
Also may add some modded trucks to the mix.
