@Sticky Milk Man, I won't be uploading a legacy version unless enough people ask, but did you try changing the version number of the mod in the descriptor.mod? that for some reason makes some older mods work. Otherwise I can upload an older version to somewhere for you to download.

Is there any legacy version for 3.14? Or considerations on making releasing one? One of my saves is still dependent on this mod

Too bad, just hoped for a 18 Tradition version because that's the amount of base game traditions and it gets annoying when I always get the tradition notification even though I already completed every Tradition tree

@Darko, Sadly no, unless it's pretty unique I won't make more versions, as it's annoying to keep all the versions updated and working as it is. Sorry for not being able to make it and thank you for the comment.

@Epic Man, Will work with no problem when added mid-game, however make sure there's no similar mods already enabled that add differing numbers of traditions to this.

@Watchman, Everything is working fine from my testing, maybe get UI Overhaul Dynamic and the patch for it, that might fix your troubles.

Just started playing after 4.0 and they fkn changed UI again. Now only 2 lines of tradition slots(8 total) can be seen + they are overlapping switch between traditions and crisis path. Sigh...

@Gazowany Smalec, Picking vanilla slot size? Not sure what that means, but what I can say is that the mod doesn't touch ascension perks only the number you can have of them which doesn't directly affect them.

ascension perks didn't work after using vanilla slot size, eg: picked detox perk and cannot terraform toxic planets

anyone else having an issue picking ascension perks after using vanilla slot size up? when i wanted to pick mind over matter it said no tradition slots left, but only for psi, bio and cyber ascension. the others worked fine

Lol for whatever reason it started working again after tree 10. Probably a fluke.. I got stomped by the vanilla exterminator lol. I'll see if it happens again on the next save.

@Aeon, That doesn't happen normally, must be a mod conflict, try disabling any mods that change anything relating to Traditions.

@Emir, It works fine, it's very likely a mod conflict caused by another mod, you can try to change your load order.

You can always try only enabling this mod and doing a test to know if it's this mod that causes it, but I did test before and it works fine.

I am playing a gestalt empire and cannot choose the genetic ascencion or the traditions tree... is this a bug?

@Watchman, That's already something the mod changes, which is addressed in the defines, maybe you have a conflict? It could also be another value that needed to be changed after an update?

Understood something only now... AI empires won't go past 7 tradition trees, just like vanilla. Is that unavoidable? Can you do something about it?

There is an additional bracket in line 679 of the file topbar_traditions_view.gui which is responsible for the crash. Removing it fixes the problem.

Hello, people of the internet. I'm a fan of this mod, and I just couldn't wait, so I temporarily updated it for myself. However, I thought that I could share it. As I tested the mod, everything worked. I will not create a new mod, as the creator of the mod did not state that they will not update it. So, to fix the mod, you need to change one text file located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\281990\3089158981\common\ascension_perks. The text file name is "lot_ascension_paths". Just delete all contents of the file and paste this text: https://justpaste.it/aeskr

Wild bug has appeared, for some bizarre reason this mod locks you out of the new synthetic age ascension perk, and lets individualistic machiness pick up human perks like gene moding
