since several patches now the game has the issue that traits will no longer carry over to the next campaign. we do not know what they broke and have not the needed game acces to fix this with mods.
To work around it decline when asked to continue so ur core gets saved and start the next campaign with core import.

Hey there, just wondering if this is a bug. When I transfer from 1941 East to 1942 East; it doesn't give me the option to pick traits for my general.

Having a slight issue with transferring my core from SCW to AO39. When I load into the first scenario, it isn't giving me the option to pick my general's traits anymore. Any help with this would be appreciated.

first strike, ignore entrenchment, rapid fire + some tank hero and you just steamrole anything it is even a little easy as soon as you get enough heroes running ^^
with first strike you dont need vigilant anymore since also when definding you strike first and infantry just gets insta killed when attacking you

Well, if you made it through the final battles against the Soviets without problems, it means your core force is strong enough to win this scenario. There may be a problem with the correct assignment of heroes; for example, you should use the Vigilant + Ignore Entrenchments combo on some tanks to clear the way more easily. And make good use of your rail guns (if you have them).

Hello All - I have had no problems so far but just cannot completes the last 1945 mission to capture Bombay. I cant even get to the city by turn 36 let alone capture the squares in it. Theres really only 2 roads leading down and has many check points held by infantry and anti tank guns. I deploy engineers with artilley support etc but takes soo long and cant get my armoured units flanking. Also enemy has so many airfields which are attacking my artillery non stop as i try to bring them up - any advice please.

Well, “downsize Panther” that’s easier said than done I would say, considering the long barrel of the Panther model... maybe the E-50 model, actually a little too small in my opinion, could be fine, but then I should think about how to replace the E-50 (maybe with the E-75 model, which I appreciate)… I’ll think about it

Well Leopard chassis was panther and his turret is 5cm i think (same weapon as puma). So i figures downsize panther would be appropriate.

You are right about recon class, but which existing model would you use for VK Leopard? It was a planned upgrade for Panzer II, if I am not wrong, then canceled

Hello Vanilla Ice, I actually had the same feeling completing AO45 East after those massive battles against the Soviets... in the next revision I'll make sure that the battles against the British are more or less on the same difficulty level too

Btw, the last 2 Soviet missions of 1945 AO Redone were quite fun too. Very cool how my three advancing unit groups got under attack almost simultanously. Managed to hold the Soviets off and destroy them, but the real difficulty was in the air bases being spaced so far apart. Very hard to conduct recons while approaching the last cities. Fighting the British again on the subsequent scenarios was suddenly childishly easy.

Yesterday I concluded the Battle of Los Angeles at Generalissimus. This battle was huge! Took me 3 days to complete it. Well, okay, no full days. Map was like Stalingrad, plus a whole desert "Vormarsch" to boot. Took me 43 turns to complete all objectives, Bonus and Elite included. Casualties tally on my part included a staggering 78 recon planes and and a 4-star armored train that was quite dear to me. Didn't count how many planes I shot down? 150 maybe?

If I remember correctly, the biggest maps are Los Angeles, Alamo precisely, Holzfaller and Zweihander... in the next review I will still try to reduce their size or at least the load for the game

@Grondel: Ich nutze Libre Office. Ich hatte, wie gesagt, schon öfter EInheiten geändert oder hginzugefügt. Nur diesmal sind sieht das oft so aus "'Fallschirmj��ger". Die Fragezeichen sind überall, wo sonst ein ü, ö oder ä ist. Verändere ich etwas, bekomme ich immer invalid units im Spiel angezeigt.

Thank you for making this mod. I have encountered some issue at Denmark AO 1939, some gift units added by mod seems bugged out and become a big red ? . When I open the shops the game will crash, could someone look at the mod of the last mission please? Thank you.

As for the experience of aux units, the ones you buy are tied to the default experience setting (but this also impacts any new core units you may purchase), while those who spawn by script can be set to whatever value you want

Hello Savant, you shouldn't be surprised, it's the same setting as vanilla, they have both arty and AT support on Artillery mode... SU-152s, and even more ISU-152s, imho are the most dangerous weapon available to the Soviets

I'm having fun playing this mod.

In Kummersdorf 1943,
I couldn't upgrade the Azul Infantry.
I looked at the contents and it said
if (captor.native_type.name == "AzulInfantry") then
So I changed it to
if (captor.native_type.name == "AzulInfantry41") then
and it upgraded.

several patches ago, i think with Cyrenica release this broke for the whole game.
To get general traits do not continue when prompted after finishing a campaign.
Decline and start a new 1939 and import ur core, then u can select general traits at the start of the campaign.

Hi there! Really enjoying your mod so far, thank you for all the effort.

Unfortunately I have encountered a bug when transitioning from SCW to AO1939 where I have no general traits on importing my core units into the new campaign. There is also no pop-up on the first 1939 mission (Czechoslovakia) to choose general traits, and they did not return on moving on to the second mission as I had hoped.

Is this a known issue? And/or is there any known workaround?

In a second attempt I managed to clear Barca 1945 Alt History succesfully. Took me 13 turns.
Different strategy this time: clearing defenses north of the canyon is not aquired, so bulk of my units deployed south of it. Just a few units north of the canyon to destroy some advancing Guards there. So no breaktrough attempt there. No need to use the pre-deployed kayaking commandos to clear the 3 fortresses either. Just lots of heavy artie and some mine clearing T34s to deal with the defenses south of the canyon. 4 Lion tanks with 4 heroes each, auxiliary Maus and 2 "submission tanks" – zero-star tanks, T-44s in this case – with No Retaliation, Overwhelming Attack and Envelopment - to deal with the advancing Guards near the highway. Air support for the Romanians from turn 1 - 1 FW-190 fighter and 1 Henschel tac bomber. Finally, 1 para unit to advance within 2 hexes from the Romanians. Job done, elite objective fulfilled. 18/16 strenght for Soviet tanks/aircraft's just fine btw.
