@Grondel: Ich nutze Libre Office. Ich hatte, wie gesagt, schon öfter EInheiten geändert oder hginzugefügt. Nur diesmal sind sieht das oft so aus "'Fallschirmj��ger". Die Fragezeichen sind überall, wo sonst ein ü, ö oder ä ist. Verändere ich etwas, bekomme ich immer invalid units im Spiel angezeigt.

Hello Savant, please read the campaign notes in the Update 10.11.24 thread, as not all scenarios of AO1946 are supported (the northern path is excluded)

Thank you for making this mod. I have encountered some issue at Denmark AO 1939, some gift units added by mod seems bugged out and become a big red ? . When I open the shops the game will crash, could someone look at the mod of the last mission please? Thank you.

As for the experience of aux units, the ones you buy are tied to the default experience setting (but this also impacts any new core units you may purchase), while those who spawn by script can be set to whatever value you want

There is font error or something like that with Romanian TD maresal. instead "maresal" there is question mark so it become "mar?sal"

wenn ich die units.csv datei ändern möchte, bekomme ich danach immer einen game crash. Die symbole sind auch merkwürdig. Ich habe "�", anstatt "ü". In eurer vorherigen Version, war das nicht so. Kann ich das irgendwie ändern?

Ah okay i dont remember vanilla at all, i got some idea to utilize ISU potential lol. Anyway in Riga 1944 there is German infantrie (regular) on Sovyet side

Hello Savant, you shouldn't be surprised, it's the same setting as vanilla, they have both arty and AT support on Artillery mode... SU-152s, and even more ISU-152s, imho are the most dangerous weapon available to the Soviets

I'm having fun playing this mod.

In Kummersdorf 1943,
I couldn't upgrade the Azul Infantry.
I looked at the contents and it said
if (captor.native_type.name == "AzulInfantry") then
So I changed it to
if (captor.native_type.name == "AzulInfantry41") then
and it upgraded.

several patches ago, i think with Cyrenica release this broke for the whole game.
To get general traits do not continue when prompted after finishing a campaign.
Decline and start a new 1939 and import ur core, then u can select general traits at the start of the campaign.

Hi there! Really enjoying your mod so far, thank you for all the effort.

Unfortunately I have encountered a bug when transitioning from SCW to AO1939 where I have no general traits on importing my core units into the new campaign. There is also no pop-up on the first 1939 mission (Czechoslovakia) to choose general traits, and they did not return on moving on to the second mission as I had hoped.

Is this a known issue? And/or is there any known workaround?

In a second attempt I managed to clear Barca 1945 Alt History succesfully. Took me 13 turns.
Different strategy this time: clearing defenses north of the canyon is not aquired, so bulk of my units deployed south of it. Just a few units north of the canyon to destroy some advancing Guards there. So no breaktrough attempt there. No need to use the pre-deployed kayaking commandos to clear the 3 fortresses either. Just lots of heavy artie and some mine clearing T34s to deal with the defenses south of the canyon. 4 Lion tanks with 4 heroes each, auxiliary Maus and 2 "submission tanks" – zero-star tanks, T-44s in this case – with No Retaliation, Overwhelming Attack and Envelopment - to deal with the advancing Guards near the highway. Air support for the Romanians from turn 1 - 1 FW-190 fighter and 1 Henschel tac bomber. Finally, 1 para unit to advance within 2 hexes from the Romanians. Job done, elite objective fulfilled. 18/16 strenght for Soviet tanks/aircraft's just fine btw.

Hello Savant, the scenario was not designed with the idea of encircling (it's a game mechanic that I don't like), so I've never tested it in this sense, but it could still be possible

The Russian units with 18 strength are set by the mod (sorry I didn't answer this question)... the 18/16 enemy mass ratio (tanks/aircraft) is difficult but manageable, consider also that in AO46 Redone you'll have to deal with a 20/18 setting which imho is really close to the limit (if the player does not overstrenght obviously)

Hello, the mission is objectively difficult but not impossible... the key to the survival of the Romanians is to advance as fast as possible towards the east so that your planes have the opportunity to support them, also try to eliminate Russian air units as soon as possible

Played Barca 1945 Alt History AO Redone today. Very tough mission – with Kursk-like Soviet defenses – and I do like a challenge, but I had to quit my efforts after some 10 turns. The Romanian units you are supposed to link up with could't cope with the opposition – Soviet tanks all being 18 strength and so on. Just wondering, are they 18 strong because of the mod or my Field Marshal difficulty? I DID manage to destroy 25 Guards units, but the Romanians got whiped out, so no army left to link up with. In a futile attempt I lent them German air support, but it was too little too late. There's no making up for AI-controlled stupidity for allied armies. They just seemed to be programmed to self-destruct. Infantry attacking from swamps, running into open grounds near enemy tanks... Apologies for being complaintive, I DO like AO Redone, it’s a clear improvement. So thanks for all the effort, I’m enjoying it, just hoping in future content allied armies will be auxiliaries.

The thing is I just used a 1-2 planes with firststrike so they are not even attacked and used Flak to remove 5-9 points from enemy planes. At that point I just keept everything on the ground covered with Flak and ignored enemy air force. But it feels a bit strange that the aim is to NOT fully kill enemy planes. Personally I liked the Seelöwe missions. They feel quite hard but there are already some heroes so you can play around with different techniques. After that the missions get a bit easy with enough heroes. Well hard to balance I guess ^^

Hello Sovieticozasz, the script you are talking about was inserted mainly to simulate Germany's inability to achieve air supremacy over the RAF in 1940, and I believe that although it is a bit difficult to accept, it performs this task perfectly

@grondel the 10/10 it may not be exactly how it works, but is how it feels. Every 2 turns all the planes seem to be avalable to the enemy. I have just ended sea lion, and one of my anti-air units has literally almost 3k casualties inflicted, alone and more than 300 support attacks aready done. It is just ridiculous, the allies have infinite manponwer, infinite planes and perfect magic logistics in the air U_U.

Great mod, but the Air changes feel pretty strange honestly. The fact that most missions i try to NOT kill enemy planes so that they dont instantly respawn with a full squad, and the fact that fighting in the air is, effectively , useless or even detrimental until you capture EVERY hangar in the map is not a great feeling. Enemy should get 1 squad of reinforcements per turn or something, not every single squad they lose instantly back.

Just finished playing Rhzev. My god, what a mission! Took me almost all day to complete it. Or maybe I'm just a slow player:steamhappy: I remember playing the unmodded version of this mission, but this redone version is definitely a step up. At first I thought this mission design to be a bit sadistic, being in very complicated situation and all, but in the end I managed to complete this mission just fine, elite objective included. It did cost me two 3 star units as casualties though. Played it at Field Marshall difficulty and commander traits cranked up to 5 points. My enabled traits included Infantery General, Master of Blitzkrieg, Auxilliary Force - which came in very handy - Force Concentration, Industry Connections and Bad Luck. So far this mod definitely looks promising. Greetings and thanks!
