Oh, and the 1-15 buttons at the "solve room" that you've put to help cross out rules you don't need anymore, are broken! 1 through 8/9 are one "line" higher than they should be.
Overall okay room, imo it would have been better if it was just the riddle portion.
After that, it's literally just an Einstein riddle. It is very solvable, I was able to do it without checking hitboxes, or hints. It's pure process of elimination.
Maybe just a random bug...
@Thorjbolt Things are dissapearing while heading out of a house, and all appear when you enter into a house ^^
For the shovel, did you see a broom in house 4 ? May be useful
- less " traps "
- More explanation about " order/position of houses "
Thanks all for commenting and helping the room ! =D
Mistook room 5 as the center room bc its in the middle of the hallway lol.
3 houses have plants that line up with the ones in the guidelines, but they aren't the ones that have those plants in the solution. Cactus on table, white plant on table, palm fronds on bed
Bird statue hint was hard bc for me, 1 and 2 live across from each other, not next to each other. They're neighbors for sure, but 1 lives next to 3, 2 lives next to 4 kind of thing.
If it was just the reflection room, I would've been done in 20 minutes.
Hint 14 will help determine where the statues will go? HOW?! We don't know where the orange sofa goes!
I think, because you already know the answer of the puzzle it looks all very logical to YOU, but to someone who comes to the puzzle with nothing they are going to be left very frustrated because they don't have the bits they need to even start.
If hint 15 posited a pony SKETCH rather than statue then fine, but the rest of the logic puzzle clearly does NOT take into account any environmental hints, so if the sketch is supposed to be a hint, it fails spectacularly.
Sorry but if you really paid attention, those 3 hints help but it's ok =D
Going to have to agree with @Mommy Milkers and @Kaotic.
This is not really solvable without brute force. The three hints you mention aren't helpful in solving the other hints. In fact, the only hint that actually leads to an item being placed is #13. But after that there is no mention of the bird statue to lead us on.
And frankly, if the environments aren't hints themselves...this is not possible to solve.
The aesthetic of the rooms proved to be an issue, where you'd think things you see would help you make logical jumps to the solution, but nope, just a nice red herring, giving no indication of how to solve the problem.
Probably needs a V2 tbh, something a bit cleaner, with a flow for how the solution comes to be, instead of 'guess and check' being the play (or like us, reading the comments and praying.)
If you simply want an exercise in finding which items snap into the hitboxes... then this map IS for you! 90 mins of actually trying to use the clues and solve it, until we finally read the other comments and just brute forced the hitboxes... Room definitely has potential, but needs major changes before I'd consider it good at all.
The concept is decent, but there NEEDS to be more here. Too many puzzles that have solutions that are far from intuitive.
We finished the room because we were just so stubborn after a little while, but we all agreed that we wished we had just quit at the very beginning.
I had tons more typed up but I guess there's a 1,000 character limit. We did not have fun.
