@cstimmo There's one more update I have in store for this addon, but it's not that big. See my other addon "Modular Human Grunts" for a bunch additional HECU stuff. (There is an upcoming camo update for desert/olive camo, will be out in a few days.)

@bean boy Probably not. Bruss's models are great, but the non-HECU humans in Half-Life weren't actually that bad model-wise to begin with (and those original models are already on the workshop). I love them but Valve clearly just shit out the HECU from previous versions of the game so porting this had a lot more of a point to it than the other humans from the game.

headshots work, tested it on breen, unfortunately breen now has an invisible backback on his collision mesh...somehow.

As for the model spinning and physics being weird, that can happen when you edit joint constraints in certain ways (but it might just be happening because the physics file is breaking from being de/recompiled, so using the one I provided from google drive might fix your problems there.) I for one tried to make the body more rigid since stretching the backpack/pouches from the upper and lower body twisting looked bad, but that caused the ragdoll to spin and fly off into the air.

Sadly, I'm not even sure. When I decompiled the default HL2 NPCs to get their ragdoll collision files (because I wanted to remain compatible with mods that do stuff with the HL2 physics) recompiling made me run into similar issues, specifically I remember headshots not working for Reagdoll, and not being able to control your hands like you can in Ragmod. I had no idea what to do, but eventually by the grace of the gods I had a physics.smd file laying around from an old port I was working on of some Counter-Strike skins. I don't remember where I extracted it from, but it just worked.

Make sure in the .qc it says $collisionjoints "arctic_physics.smd" cause I think Crowbar will automatically rename that line to whatever the model name is.

how do you make a ragdoll retain compatibility with reagdoll?
I extracted the default models, their phy files, and every related file.
but by the time I compile it again, even without changing anything, when reagdoll is enabled its spinny, spazzy, headshots dont work, ect.
it seems to happen regardless of which exact studiomdl program I use, gmod or not.
did you have to do anything special in the qc file?
all I wanted to do was change the limb constrains, but I'm tearing my hair out.

my guy, metrocops are cops, hecu are a goddamn Hazardous Combat squad when something goes wrong, idk why do you say "the virgin combine metrocop versus the chad hecu marine!11!1!" like bro, metrocops are starter enemies, are just Cops meanwhile the HECU are a army that just gets wiped by some nerd in orange suit, and they dind't last longer in two days in a lab. meanwhile metrocops are just mall cops, easily hecu gets defeated by rare aliens and a nerd in orange suit

You mean the stretching on the top of the head? That's what games used to do for the top of NPC heads. Look at the HL2 citizen heads, they do the same thing.
