It falls apart a bit when you get to trying to do more complex stuff, IMO the dialog system isn't particularly straightforward to understand.
Typically at that point I'd suggest learning how to code it yourself anyways, but that comes with dealing with figuring out the complex AF iterator code

yep, it's being added to the next release which overhauls the sprite handling.
