i disabled the mod and also reset the saves i played it on, spawns were normal again till i got to subterranean, it was still nothing but dropwigs
i have no idea why subterranean didnt return to normal like the other regions

Lore: The insect species Dropicus Wigicace will breed every 5,000 cycles, they breed very heavily and can easily overtake other species. Because of this, they tend to take the place of those creatures and continue to breed up into a family of 5. they can breed without a mate.

you should replace vanilla dropwig spawns with 10 dropwigs instead of just 5

yep, confirmed it's this mod: I saw five dropwigs emerge from a single den at the very start of a new cycle

and there was also a higher than normal amount of dropwigs in shaded (though not everything was dropwigs)

I think I'm also experiencing what flickerway got... I found eight dropwigs (total) in the two rooms closest to the shaded gate and no train lizards on my inv (haven't gotten any further yet)

I have now beaten this mod as spearmaster. I will say, I had a final kill count of 256 dropwigs. Underhang was... *not fun...* but overall it was a fun challenge.

@flickeraway40 The only way to make your spawns normal is disable mod&delete save.

Hi! Your mod seems to have overwritten my inv files and everything is now dropwigs. I've tried uninstalling, verifying file integrity, etc-- do you by any chance know if there's an easy way to undo the changes it did?

use the whole dropwig so you get 70% more dropwig per dropwig
