Hello Key. You have developed a really cool MERC with Stogie.
But i have seen in the mod editor, there is a conflict with the gun.
One of the values is 0 - and it should be at least 1
For myself i have also added 10% crit chance to Bessie (just a suggestion)

Hi Key. I am a fan of your merc models and I have almost all the collection in my gameplay. I play with BCE that have some issues with ToG. It is possible to remove the lock in the inventory for the Bessie M134 minigun so you can give Stogie another weapon.

Hello. Thanks for the suggestions, but I'm a fan of the Steam Workshop, I really like it. I also really like your Mod, I just didn't want to use "Tons of Guns" (an incredible Mod) together, because it ends up "messing up" things a bit, even though it's a great Mod. Thanks again!

Nevertheless, there are two options I belive:
- Use an older version from Nexus
- Deactivate the ToG for the new version (maybe this is possible only with the Nexus mod?), it should fall back to (bad) 3d model for the gun

Hello. Sorry to ask, but wouldn't it be possible for your Mod (which is amazing) to have a version in which the use of the "Tons of Guns" Mod is not mandatory? It's just a question, as I believe it would be a lot more work. Thanks.

Major update:

- No more perk icon duplication on mod reloads
- Converted Eternal war perk to UnitReactions
- New 3d appearance
- Moved the needed pics/icons to the UI folder to eliminate some warnings
- Old portrait and body are available in /UI/old_UI

Heads up to all fans of Stogie: just got notification from the Tons of Guns' author that the current m134 minigun model will be changed to a newer one on Friday and could break current savegames with Stogie.

Once available, I will adapt the new model for Stogie too.

... and good catch with the riding boots :) I knew the uniform was off, that's why I gave it another dozen or so iterations and modified by hand in the end - the boots I missed...

As for 2)
I was considering Bob Adams (he was a freakin' genius with 97 Wis, right?), but yeah, stupid death interfered... While I am not saying there cannot be a miraculous revivals with an exellent backstory (just see the Palpatine clones, that was amazing, right?;)), I was not considering this for Bob yet...
Bud Hellar is a candidate I agree, I remember having him in my JA1 party.

One a side note, the reasons for the reworks:
- While some of my older pics I like very much, not all were up to the quality I'd have liked, and sadly I've reached my limit of artistic ability with them (in that style)
- I also didn't like the body images being recolors of already existing mercs/villains. While serviceable, it was clearly lacking and clashing - ie. Stogie was really just "renting" Gus' spare uniform :)
- Unify the style of my mercs
- I like to experiment

But again, I expected this will not be to everyones liking, so my backup plan is with Nexusmods right now, please check it out if you prefer the previous style more.

Hey, no worries, I've expected the question (I've expected it to come even earlier for some days now, but people seem to be patient and polite, and apparently only now I've crossed the threshold - key is ruining the nice old portraits :) )

De gustibus non est disputandum, so yes, there is/will be a possibility, while Steam Workshop is not very friendly for versions, I've not yet updated my mods at Nexusmods, and even later there I intend to keep those old ones accessible for those people who prefer the old images.

2) Also if I may, I miss captain Bob Adams (radio/intel guy, no, most definitely not stupid death, as far as 1.13 is concerned) and lieutenant Bud Hellar (the snitch) quite a bit, no one seems to give them a chance these days, so I feel like mentionning them here. Me thinks it's real easy to come up with great special abilities for those guys, in case you're interested in giving it a try.

Well... I must admit the man looks a little on the wrong side of... "defence", if you see what I mean, with those cute little horse riding boots. No? Isn't he supposed to be a machine gunner, with rangoes and grit to boot? I like the old one better, but that's just me. Not sure that shiny uniform allure fits him very well.
To be honest, I liked your older pictures better. All of them. Except maybe for Donna Houston who still looks pretty fine.
Is there a way to have these back? Maybe two versions of the mod, if it's not to much to ask?
Don't get me wrong, Key. I enjoy your work quite a bit beyond that one aspect. They kinda look like dolls now.

@SkunkXL Yeah, but also Bobby Ray's is coming and I guess there will be a lot of ToG involvement, right? ;)
@Morianthi Stogie was another cool concept where I believe the personal item is the actual "Perk" in a sense, meaning the MVP of the build. The ammo to feed the beast is just the icing on the cake;)

indeed, but since its not the same item this doesnt matter much i guess. given that the rudimentary implementations at the fleamarket and the weapon shipments will be removed in the future this shouldnt affect your merc at all :-)

... the slight issue is that it is out of sync with the Tons of Guns values for the same gun. Well, you cannot have everything I guess :)

Hey, thanks for the info, yep, a real 3d model sounds great. I was just thinking about a viable minigun for Stogie and found the M134 looks badass enough, with a little stretch of imagination it can(?) be handheld by Stogie with 96 Strength but I should just have checked the Tons of Guns mod and take the inspiration from there ;) I am slightly hesitant of introducing dependencies, but maybe a cool 3d model would warrant that.

Ijust noticed your M134 uses the HK21 entity/3d-model.

Tons of Guns contains a M134 3d-model wich you could use to build Bessie on top of the same Entity. You would then have to set Tons of Guns as a dependency for this particular mod, but you can inherit the 3d-model that way :-)
