I agree, trees are absolutely hideous in this game lol

Works with AGOT but it somehow removes all the trees and I like that so don't ever fix it

Shouldn't be heavy on performance as it doesn't add anything extra on top of the game, The mod only tweaks some existing files. The 3D map is already rendered in vanilla but it's hidden underneath overlays, I just made it more visible.

Am I the only one with this problem? There is no problem at first startup, but if return to the main menu and restart game, the county borders disappears. The county borders in this mod are so attractive, but this problem bothers me so much...

Wonderful mod. But, do you think it'll be possible to make a version with blue water even when zooming out? I've always found the vanilla sea a bit confusing, with the paper color and the sparse monsters. Thanks a lot by the way.

Keep in mind it only works if there are kingdoms or empires that cover those areas.

Ah damn that's unlucky :D I hope there's a way to separate the two, as in allow the darker, more visible borders in the more zoomed out realm-level map, but on the terrain zoom they'd be a lot more translucent so as to not block too much of the terrain from being seen. :( Here's hoping someone knows of a way, thanks again for the mod regardless. :)

There are 2 types of borders, the 2D version which are the ones you mentioned, and thicker 3D borders which can be adjusted depending on the zoom level. I removed the 3D borders almost entirely, except on the paper map where they are barely visible but I haven't found a way to adjust the 2D version. If anyone knows a solution please let me know.

The map looks really great, so props to you! I especially love that (as minor a detail it may be to some people) the county borders are actually visible from the empire map, however if I can offer some feedback, those same borders are a bit too opaque and dark when fully zoomed in, so certain details on the terrain like rivers end up not visible at all. Would you consider reducing the opacity or perhaps at least making the borders themselves a bit thinner? :)
