I took the time to decompile the vpk from that addon you sent and take a look at the sounds it replaces and yes, it replaces the majority of sounds that GoldSnd also replaces. So, it will conflict.

Just something to ask, is it possible it conflicts with this mod which adds in the original l4d1 ambient noises? https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2635475152 I didn't notice it directly with the main menu mod screen but I'm unsure if either would of overlapped each other in game

The alarm is a bit too obvious as to where that sound came from. Could you maybe change that?

Ayyy nice. If I may offer some feedback though, the cicadas from the brief footage of Hard Rain sound pretty long and drawn out. Might get a bit annoying but that's just me. Still, pretty neat mod you got.
