Oops I named it "weapon_melee_pink_trail_laser" for some reason

weapon_melee_pink_laser does not take effect, and the console reports an error "
Attempting to create unknown particle system 'weapon_melee_pink_laser'"

I check again and nothing has red name. Maybe I should unsub all of them

missing particle error mean this mod was somehow not loaded
there maybe other mod that conflict with this

@Ishikawa try looking if your "Ultra Particles: Texture Files" addon is up to date. Might be a problem from that end.

@HaterZUnited I use almost ubercharged and others but all of them dont work. A few days ago, they still working and I didnt add any addon btw

@Ishikawa you can check the Ubercharged Melee collection where some skins that has the particles integrated. You can also find some from other authors, and they usually added this particle mod as a requirement, or mention it uses it in the description. Hope this helps.

@Ishikawa, did you use a weapon melee skin that uses this particle addon? This particle addon needs to be added by a skin modder to use the particles. It isnt like Funky FX particle mod where it is immediately applied to melee weapons.

If you did subbed to a melee skin that uses the particles and it doesnt work, I dunno. Have to Tempest, this particle mod author.

1. This mod alone wont work.
2. You need a melee weapon skin that uses this mod to have the particles.
3. Some of the melee skins are in the Ubercharged collection.
4. Some of the newer Printstream melee weapon skins also use them.

@Tenpenny this addon is basically a basemod, mods that contains resources for the particles to work. Think of it the same as the addon Particle Manifest. You need to find melee weapon skins that are made using this addon. Some of them are in the Ubercharged Collection, skins made by this particle author. You can also find some made by other people in the Workshop. Some of them includes the newer version of the Printstream melee series.

TL;DR, no. This mod is basically a manifest. You need to find skins that uses the particle assets from this addon for it to work.

The Ubercharged Collection is already provided by the author.

Yes I know, i am using some of your melee weapon skins. What i mean was a shame was that it needed to be used in the mod skin creation for it to take affect. Since that means not every skin will have it. That's all. But i guess that's to be expected since the mod has so many colour variations.

Question Author, does this mod need the weapon made with the particles? Or is it like Funky Particles where is applies to the weapon itself upon mod install.
