FrozenParagon Aug 5 @ 8:36am
ok, i think i should just clone this mod and reupload it
FrozenParagon Aug 5 @ 8:35am
I have to manually delete that file everytime a mod verification is triggered
FrozenParagon Aug 5 @ 8:34am
why do you still have the english l files in yer mod? this only conflicts with every other mod. whyyyyy?
Nyxtoggler Jun 6 @ 6:22pm
Any chance of an update to v4 environment?
Sledjer Dec 28, 2024 @ 12:20am
This mod needs an update. It now breaks the localisation of a lot of things into the code text rather than localized.

I found this weird bug with election tab https://imgur.com/a/Oj7TSU0
Nyxtoggler May 28, 2024 @ 5:59am
Is there a name limit? I was running a mod that allowed super large galaxies (1750 systems).
Nyxtoggler May 28, 2024 @ 5:58am
Looks like it. I started new game without the mod, and I don't see "blank" systems anymore. (and of course, I don't get the crashes from clicking on blank name systems).
sasaki412  [author] May 28, 2024 @ 5:33am
@Nyxtoggler
does that mean that if I remove this mod the problem will no longer occur?
It would be helpful if you could isolate the cause.
Nyxtoggler May 27, 2024 @ 3:56pm
I'm seeing systems with blank names and clicking on them crashes the game. (English client). Is there's anything I can do to regenerate the name?
sasaki412  [author] May 7, 2024 @ 4:09pm
updated.
there is probably no problem with the operation, but I was concerned about the error log being output, so I fixed it.
sasaki412  [author] May 7, 2024 @ 1:21pm
updated.
compatible with ver 3.12.
refactored code significantly and fixed bugs with moon naming.
sasaki412  [author] Apr 27, 2024 @ 7:28am
I found a bug that causes moon naming to fail, but I would like to fix it after the release of 3.12.

sorry for my rough work.
i don't know the grammar of other languages, so i'm not sure if the notation is appropriate.
sasaki412  [author] Mar 18, 2024 @ 4:32am
updated.
compatible with ver 3.11.2
added other language files.

@lxixi44
Thanks for the answer!
I copied lines from the game's localization file to the mod's localization file by cut/paste.
As far as I saw, the difference was in the absence in the fashion of lines assigning Arabic numbers 0-9 for the names of planets during colonization.
And now the entire game interface is again in my language, and when colonized, planets receive Roman numerals and Latin letters.
The quality of Paradox's work in recent years has been depressing: seriously, how could it be possible in 8 years not to correct this stupid numbering of planets in order, to worsen the sector system and not to add more than 1000 systems.
In any case, I'm glad that there are people like you who make the game playable.
Thank you so much for the mod!
Please write if I can send you a localization file to add to the mod.
sasaki412  [author] Mar 15, 2024 @ 4:27am
@luxorserg
i guess the problem is caused by the language file.
currently, it only support Japanese, English, and Simplified Chinese.
i will add other language files soon.
luxorserg Mar 14, 2024 @ 6:15am
Hello, please help me figure out how to make the mod work.
For me, the name of the plate remains the same during colonization “1”, “2”, etc.
The mod is in first place in downloads in the launcher. If I disable all other mods, Roman numerals also do not appear during colonization.
sasaki412  [author] Feb 28, 2024 @ 4:04am
updated.
compatible with ver 3.11.1
Opr8er Feb 6, 2024 @ 5:10am
The 'No More Rename Colony' mod holds significant value for me as it effectively streamlines my gameplay experience by eliminating the need for renaming colonies, thereby allowing me to focus more on exploration, strategy, and immersion within the game world without the distraction of managing trivial details. No more 1000 "Prime" Planets
sasaki412  [author] Feb 5, 2024 @ 6:45pm
updated.
my interests change quickly, so I apologize for not updating for a long time.

changed the roman numeral 8. IIX > VIII
compatible with ver 3.10.4
phaseshift_planet is included in unique planets.
FrozenParagon Jan 24, 2024 @ 12:48am
i'm probably not going to make a version nor can i contribute or post files here in any meaningful way, but to anyone who's comfortable with it: delete the l_english.yml and/or l_japanese.yml files in localization. this will null the "no prime" function of the mod, but will fix everything else
No Really I'm Not Batman Dec 29, 2023 @ 2:53pm
You need to update your localization files
Nyxtoggler Dec 26, 2023 @ 5:29am
Is there an updated version? or is there a FrozenParagon version?
sargon133 Dec 22, 2023 @ 2:16pm
FrozenParagon thank you for the info I am going to give this a try, I don't entirely know what I am doing but I am going try and figure it out
FrozenParagon Dec 15, 2023 @ 9:54am
I disabled everythin in the file and renamed it to not override and now all my formatting issues are gone :)
FrozenParagon Dec 14, 2023 @ 10:04am
ah, i think i see the issue. you don't need to do a full overwrite of the loc file. you can put your changes in the replace folder inside the loc folder
FrozenParagon Dec 14, 2023 @ 10:01am
this mod deserves more than under 1k subs imo. FUCKING ADORE this mod btw
FrozenParagon Dec 14, 2023 @ 10:01am
this mod never stopped working for me, but it is causing formatting errors on the front page, the outliner, the top bar, possibly others. minor issues as far as i'm concerned given what this mod brings to the game. however if u could fix these issues that'd be grand
Grendain Nov 25, 2023 @ 8:28am
Sad.. But dont work for new current version
Viel Nov 18, 2023 @ 2:54am
Not compatible with 3.10 until this gets an update
AlienFromBeyond Oct 9, 2023 @ 4:33pm
8 in Roman numerals should be VIII not IIX. Otherwise this has been working great for me!
Melkorian Sep 10, 2023 @ 3:06am
Hi @Sasaki#1714, just letting you know that I've noticed a bug where it effects the descriptions of some of the origins eg: origin_description_(something), as well as when a planet that didn't have its name changed and was kept the same is colonized, it changes anyway when the colonization is complete (Dunno if I gave enough relevant info)
Still love this mod and think its brilliant :)
IPWIW Sep 3, 2023 @ 2:11am
YES
Sepherix Sep 2, 2023 @ 4:43am
Sadly this breaks naming habitats. Not a huge deal since they're getting changed in the next update.
Good mod.
Rui_MS Aug 31, 2023 @ 12:55pm
Man this is so useful. I have no idea why paradox don't want us to use planet's own name
Commander Star Aug 30, 2023 @ 7:02am
Thank God, I always hate naming them... Prime, Secundus, Tertius, Quartus... etc.
sasaki412  [author] Aug 30, 2023 @ 1:57am
updated.
this mod didn't work with versions other than v3.9beta, so I fixed to work with v3.8.4 well.
I was using the new scripting syntax available only in v3.9beta.
sasaki412  [author] Aug 29, 2023 @ 9:03pm
updated.
fixed typo error.
FortuneHost Aug 28, 2023 @ 2:45pm
Oh man, I missed the "No Prime" mod when the update broke it. Thanks for bringing this function back!
