im trying to fix them all rn so wait a bit
"MWBasic"
if gripposeparameter really failed it wouldnt even change the holding animation
With SCAR and AK forgrip isn't even visible, no animation is changed as well
1. SetGripPoseParameter - [C]:-1
2. PostProcess - MWBaseSafeInclude:29
3. PostProcess - MWBaseSafeInclude:5
4. BuildCustomizedGun - lua/weapons/mg_base/modules/shared/sh_customization.lua:355
5. Attach - lua/weapons/mg_base/modules/shared/sh_customization.lua:87
6. unknown - lua/entities/mg_attachment.lua:44
MWBase, MW Assault Rifles, and MW Basic installed only
Could it possibly be a conflict? I've got quite a few shared packs and guns as well, if that's a possibility
"gripposeparameters" is what changes the holding animation to the foregrip one
does equipping the grip change the anim for you?
MWBaseSafeInclude:29: pose parameter grip_gripvert_offset was not defined in GripPoseParameters!
1. SetGripPoseParameter - [C]:-1
2. PostProcess - MWBaseSafeInclude:29
3. PostProcess - MWBaseSafeInclude:13
4. BuildCustomizedGun - lua/weapons/mg_base/modules/shared/sh_customization.lua:355
5. Attach - lua/weapons/mg_base/modules/shared/sh_customization.lua:87
6. unknown - lua/entities/mg_attachment.lua:44
Other foregrips are fine, as well as any other attachments that I've tested
I think Workshop is a bit oversaturated with 'real' MW2019&2 guns, but they're really fn CPU-intensive with their ungodly amount of vertices. No one seem to be able to compress the models (compressing textures helps if you have really low VRAM), so this "MWBasic" stuff is literally a godsend. Since the animations are still supreme and can be handled by low-ends quite a bit easier than 2019 models, these weapons feel just as good, if not better (a lot more consistent with the average detail level of GMod. Imagine Forza Horizon 5 cars in GTA San Andreas environments).
