I would also suggest to change the name of the Shadow Stalker (Dark) to something else as another mod as a unit of that name (Cloak and Dagger tomes) and that unit in perticular is a port from AoW3 which is why I suggest changing here.

To either just "Stalker", "Darkstalker" or "Nightshade" something like that would be nice.

I noticed the Custodian tier 4 Shield doesn't display with chariots, all you get is the chariot.

I would agree on changing the name of the Cohort (because Tomes of the Warlord mod has a unit of that name which is a pikeman). I would suggest getting names from ancient greece or italian as the culture has heavy inspiration from those.
For example "Hoplite" or "Psilos". (Both are basicly infantry soldier names from that time)
The cavalry can be called "Hippeis" (Cavarly soldier more or less)

@Shadow_Volkamon Custodian which mean
a person with responsibility for protecting or taking care of something or keeping something in good condition, sounds pretty good vs Eques which is Latin something no other units use naming wise.

Forerunner could work but not for a shield unit.

Cohort while i agree it's not perfect, i was flip flopping between Auxiliary and Ancillary before i just picked the one most fitting for its job which was Cohort as the others sounded to passive also Myrmidon is more in line with barb because fury (barb archer) Campion is also in used by barb.

Got a naming suggestion for the new Architect units - to maybe stick to the Architect naming convention a bit better, perhaps instead of Custodian it could be "Forerunner" or "Eques", and Cohort could instead be "Myrmidon" or "Champion"

Von Schnitzel, the Warlock has no head for Ancient or Elysian. Most of the models you added are also missing helmets for Ancient or Elysian.

thanks for the quick update, I also noticed that the sentinel (and maybe more) seems to be missing its boat model when embarked. Cause they are invisible right now.

@Nexious That's because Sentinel was a tier 3 unit original but i decided to have it and Cohort trade places, it's fixed now.

The new t1 sentinel unit for Architects costs like a t2 unit in draft and gold. Can you fix that? and double check if any other unit has the wrong cost

if it isn't fixed verify integrity of game files

1 Open your Game Library on Steam.
2 Right-click on your game.
3 Select Properties from the menu.
4 In the Properties menu, select 'Local Files' from the left-hand panel.
5 On the Local Files page, select 'Verify integrity of game files'
6 Steam will then verify your files. ...
7 Once Steam is finished, a box saying all files successfully validated.

This update contains 3 Architect units and fixed some bugs i found.

Can confirm, the High Culture's Sun Priest still has their Mending Awakening ability, and the ability still has a line item in its description about healing temporary hit points, but there is no number of temporary hitp oints stated and it does not actually heal at all (although it does still grant the awakened status).

Hi, I love your mod it adds great units to the game. I know you haven't updated it for the Griffon update yet. I found one issue, in the high culture. The Sun Priest loses their healing temporary hit points in the Mending Awakening.

This update have been constantly delayed as a lot of things have gotten in the way also im trying to get the Theo culture mod done so i can focus on other stuff.

This update contains some bug fixes and dark reworks (again)

Cohort have been turned into a shield unit called Bulwark while working on Theo i made a trait called hammer and anvil this trait ended up unused but i realised it could indirectly fix Dark Warriors without having to modify DW directly.

Tormentor i wanted something a bit more intimidating simple as.

The Executioner's (tier 3 dark shield) icon is bugged when mounted.

Hi. Just want to let you know this mod is causing the default Liege Guard's unit icon to be blank. Maybe your new Man-at-Arms has a conflict with this Feudal - Aristocracy unit?

I'm not sure if it's connected to the other Primal Fury unit card being blank.

It's a tier III shield unit that gives surrounding units primal fury when damaged.

Only that unit's icon is blanked. The vanilla tier III pike unit that comes with the same town level upgrade is working fine.

@SQW I don't think it's animal kinship as it only adds overlyers to units. Out of curiosity what unit has messed up icon also is it only one unit or are all units icons messed up?

Also is it a mounted unit or a unit with opt mounted trait?

@SQW Did you have any transformations active at the time? Because it could be that in general tho i havent found a good why to fix the icon bug yet without making the mod incompatible with other mods, iam curenly working on my second cultuer mod wher im experementing with a way to fix it.

Also did you use any modded tome transformations at the time?

One question: I was part way into my Primal Fury game when I discovered your mod. When I tried to play with the mod from a save, the unit card in the training/recruit list is just a blank square even though I can still see the 3D unit model if I right click on it.
Is there a solution? I don't want to have to restart but I really want to try your unit.

I have fixed some minor bugs

Reworked primal units guardian and hunture as i was not happy with how the primal units turned out i plan on reworking primalist at some point as i'm not too happy with how it turned out.

Absolutly excellent mod, only shame is, that it do not cooperate with Units Upgrade Effect Overhaul mod, because units from this mod pack can't compete with vanilla units with upgrades from said mod. Again, extremly good mod, magelock marksmans are absolutly crazy, managed to land hit for 110 dmg!

@MrDeath A bit of both, it didn't make sense to use a greatsword for a unit called sapper, an axe makes more thematic sense as it is more useful as a tool for breaking through barricades.

The greatsword was a bit buggy on some races because the hilt was too small as it was just a scaled-up Reaver sword.

Before anyone post something about missing optional mount trait i have removed them from skirmishes because i just could not fix them out without another problem pooping upp.

also fixed character creation screen units.

@crimsonflower Yes it was done to prevent a thing with the ai, how it isn't even really necessary any more and will be remove next time i pass that property by if i can remember.

@criticofthedawn Unsub resub is unreliable verifying file is way more reliable way to achieve that. As fore load order i don't know as i basically only use my mods at this point.

@LILSAW Are you by chance using any other unit mods or tome mods? because if you are you should check if they were updated for the new dlc if not don't use them as the lag bug will almost 100% affects them, also this bug is not exclusive to my mod nor was it caused by my mod.

@LILSAW, I'd suggest trying (in order) Moving the mod to the end of the playlist, Unsubscribing from the mod and resubscribing to try to force an update, and if neither of the above work, locating the mod folder on your computer (there is an option in the AoW4 Launcher to show the mod folder) and deleting it, THEN unsubscribing and resubscribing to prompt it to re-download.

so i discovered "rebalance" is still not working as intended because while it does affect all the statuses now it oddly removes both negatives and positives and replaces with the opposites for my own units so for example if my unit had rally it replaces it with remorse and if my unit had weakened it also replaces it with strengthened.

@Uledrith I assume based on that comment you are new to this game only Feudal units have that as a mechanic which is why it is not present in other cultures.

Are T1s supposed to be able to upgrade to T3? I'm playing primal and the T1 darter skirmisher does not upgrade on legendary rank to its T3 counterpart. Same thing with Guardian. However, when I played human fuedal, all the units did upgrade.

with the harmonizer "rebalance" ability i am not sure if i am doing something wrong or if its not working as intended because ive noticed weakened and decaying among other effects dont work with the ability so i am not sure if you intentionally didnt add certain statuses to it or whats up. is there anywhere i can check to see what statuses are suppose to work with the ability so that i can see if its working as intended or not?

I have fixed a number of things relating to bugged models when combined with transformations and lag (i don't want to talk about this so don't ask ples)

I have changed Noble Knight to be just a knight, it got to keep inheritance and lesser lord trait (Noble Knight is a workaround so i don't have to modify the base game Knight)

finally got around to finishing mystic tier 4 conjurer

added potential sub culture unit tier 4 archivist (the spell book is currently just a copy of the one used by lost wiz)

@KnightGabriel I tested and it works as intended how ever i forgot to mention in the description that range is limited to 3 hexes away, this have now bin fixed.

@Von Schnitzel I've noticed an issue with the celestian's "twin meaning awakening" ability, in that it never actually chains to a second target like it's supposed to.
