@teebag180 Thanks for reporting! That's very strange, I can't reproduce this bug; it works well whenever I try to input any evidence marker in any of the slots on the pinboard. When you tried to put them in place, did they go briefly into the slot but got ejected, or you couldn't place them at all? Did you try restarting the room, and if so, did the problem persist? Thanks for your help!

I think the pinboard is defective or something. I had 4 numbers to enter, but every slot I tried just completely rejects all the numbers I tried to put in place. I even tried every single number, but they just won’t go in

This was really imaginative, I liked it! :)

As a game master myself, I really enjoyed this room! It was fun, especially the second task, and I would have like a little more to do with the third maybe having to look for the right tool everywhere, as it is often the case when you have to fix a broken stuff, or having to improvise with what you have at the time
But congratulation, it was amazing and I had a lot of fun playing it

Don't feel silly, those things happen! I'm glad it worked out

I feel rather silly now. It was late and I didn't realize to click on the robot once I solved the puzzle.
I finished it and it was good!

@OkiDoki Oh, sorry to hear about the softlock, how did that happen? I wonder if it's something I can fix on my end
OkiDoki Dec 27, 2023 @ 9:31pm
Was a good one! Until the Sci Fi Room where it randomly soft locked. I'll try again tomorrow and redo it!

Very Unique and Fun! Ya, the Japanese room I had to undo a few puzzle, should have read the scroll. The only room thought was too hard was the last one. The numbers were easy, but couldn't figure out the letters everytime, probably just me, but was my least favorite. Even though it was really cool.

Thoroughly enjoy the mechanics behind your room! Great job! (:

I genuinely did not enjoy the first puzzle because to read it and try to make sense of it was confusing because why would you do it in such a weird order that made no sense?

Loved how meta this one was, I'm a huge sucker for this kind of stuff, especially the crazy gm control screen room . Huge congrats on the placement and looking forward to more

Finally had a chance to play this today...wow! Really creative puzzles, and beautiful ambiance + music. I especially appreciated the care that went into the lobby. :)

As others have commented, the Japanese tearoom reverse escape room was brilliant. I could see a whole series of rooms that build on this mechanic.

Good luck in the contest!!

Just the music was really annoying and the control room went on for maybe one too many, other than that, we enjoyed it.

@blankpixels, @Robin, @awoozy, @CinnaMon: Thanks so much! Very glad you enjoyed it :)

The reverse Japanese escape room was actually so cool! We need more people making rooms like this.
Eureka Paprika  [author] Aug 24, 2023 @ 12:05pm
@No0dle :D That's the twist of that puzzle. The idea being that you don't just put things in any available place, but make the escape room solvable for the players: the scroll has written on it the hint to how to place the tiles in the pillar, therefore it doesn't make sense if it goes inside the pillar box (which requires the use of that same hint to be opened). I wanted the player to think sort of backwards on how an escape room works to understand how to place those items. I hope that didn't spoil the experience for you!

I dont understand why daruma and scroll goes both ways :( took me 30 min just for this
awoozy Aug 23, 2023 @ 10:45pm
Agree with Robin. The reverse puzzle room was really interesting. I had to undo puzzles more than a few times to put the right piece inside properly. It was definitely a different way to think about things. I

I really enjoyed this! I found the Japanese reverse escape room particularly charming :) And I really loved solving the murder mystery . Stylistically it was super impressive, the flow was great and I had so much fun! :) Good luck!!
blankpixels Aug 23, 2023 @ 3:46pm
Amazing room!! We thought the control room was bugged at first before we realized there were additional things on there hahaah. Awesome job!! Did this on Versus mode & the BF & I had a fun time!
Eureka Paprika  [author] Aug 23, 2023 @ 7:22am
Thanks for the nice comments! And thank you @k8sparrot for playtesting the room even though it was so late, you rock!
k8sparrot Aug 22, 2023 @ 6:17pm
Great room - thanks!
awoozy Aug 21, 2023 @ 8:12pm
FUN! I played single player and would hated to have played that in versus. Dunno but I feel like I was really slow. Great room though. And at least the cookie was delicious.
