There were vegan greek and arab philosophers and who knows how many others, fake meat ie plant made "meat" since bc China and medieval europe even had fake meat, Im sure there were fine vegans during the time

Yeah but in this somewhat alternative history world theyre vegan. "Ahimsakara-Shakta" faith of warmongering vegan hindus doesnt exist irl either but it exists with this mod

But Vegan ≠ Vegetarian, even in India almost most who are vegetarian are not vegans. Vegan = no dairy products. Though I think tying it to a religious tenet is way better than cultural tradition.

This tenet should be core part of Vaishnavism faith and Jain religion.

If you want to play as a vegab you need to pick a character with one of the vegan religions (Ahimsakara-Shakta in Gujarat or one of the Jain religions) or you can make a custom character with one of these religions
