Coming Soon™?
also an option for it to invert to brighten it up if the player uses a black skin color
has anyone suggested this to the DMS creator?
you can't make your spearmaster like blue grey or whatever and use that tail, since the colors on the tail will be multiplied by the game's coloring thing.
to have it like what you're asking, we'd need either layering to start existing or some other horrible tintable amalgamation.
read the messages i've sent please.
the alt tail is intended to be used without spots, but msc sprites don't automatically refresh unless you go back to the main menu, or use a shortcut/regular pipe.
Also, changing the look of the "Tail Speckles" in the "Get Fancy" menu doesn't seem to be working, because when I set it to "Empty", the speckles from the default tail do not hide and seem to overlap with the ones of the custom tail.
i've already stated this in the description. please tick "use defaults" if you haven't already, it'll set the color for you.
and no it's not a bug, as a manually colored tail, it is not supposed to be used on any other slugcat except for spearmaster.
I'm kinda new to Rain World and its modding, so if there's a real solution please tell me. I couldn't find anything in the subreddit or other websites, so I don't know if it's a bug or something.
july of this year, during the 14th i mentioned making them in the dress my slugcat server. i kindly asked for his approval btw (which he obliged)
oh nah not remotely worried about it being good enough. i just personally like it accurate to whatever art happens to be present. (vinki has really cool proportions ngl)
also the one i was mentioning was a personal mod i was making for the workshop.
but yea feel free. if you need anything i'm on the dms server.
the ironic part about that was me showing olay the unique vinki sprites i was making from scratch. using cutscene rat sprites as-is would not do vinki justice methinks.
i told you exactly how to get it for steam workshop though. you could check raindb if you need.
could you not blame me for that, thank you. but your dms is likely version 2.1.3. unsub from dms, wait 10 seconds then resub.
the dms mod version that works for 1.11 watcher is 2.1.4 btw.
trust me, i've tried. it just looks wrong on lighter shades.
and it's ultimately a matter of "looks wrong no matter what's tried" or "tolerate strange tinting" and it just gruhhhhhhh
but it's what i made color scar and color iris for
because i *want* it to be tintable but not be the same shade
without a mask color there's kinda no dice on it. (kinda why gourm's face only works on darker shades and solid/near white only, but looks off on tones closer to the body color
A few of the faces with manual versions, (particularly Saint and Hunter, and although they don't have a manual version, Arti too,) when it comes to their recolorable face variants, would probably benefit more from having their secondary shade being translucent instead of the darker shade of gray, kind of like how it was done for the "anti-aliasing" on Gourmand's face.
There are very, very few situations where it really makes sense for what is supposed to be an inbetween color from the face color to the skin turning into the darkest of the three, and it has the effect of making Hunter's scar look like a much more prominent gash, along with making it look like Saint has three big holes in their head.
yeye
like the description states, you can make personal skins w/o asking, mainly because it's none of my business. but ya go ahead
pre 1.5, yes
but now you can equip sprites on watcher's body slot, but they don't really support patterns.
it already does???
body sprites don't accept patterned sprites though
already planned
You are a wonderful creator by the way. Incredible work with this mod.
add more pixels around the existing ones, then make that the new iris.
you know the drill:
steamapps, workshop, content, 31250. then find this mod's folder by it's id in the url.
the only thing that has happened was that i made vanilla plus, which has a smaller eye variant. but there has never been a change in rivulet's eye size.
what??
they've never changed size throughout development
that'd add like a million variants i don't want to make yet. that plus i'm planning on moving the non-essential skin contents to its own sister mod.
also portrait what? you're leaving out crucial context.
like portrait vanilla plus? (it'd be kinda redundant as vanilla plus already resembles portrait legs)
or portrait fatal? (which is already planned but i want to redo the walk cycle for portrait again, it's not as smooth as i wanted it to be)
i already got some vplus stuff planned as well, but it's not inv. maybe later down the line i will. might get impulsive idk.
