I'm sorry bro, I didn't know belittling people was only fun when you did it. That's my bad.
OneFoxArmy Jun 16, 2020 @ 10:42am
No need to be a dick
Graesholt  [author] Jun 16, 2020 @ 10:14am
@OneFoxArmy
Oh, wow man. Thanks for the advice, that's really helpful!
You can look up some basic grammer on 'goolge' as well, you know (:
OneFoxArmy Jun 15, 2020 @ 1:53pm
I was saying you can look up lore on Authurs dagger on goolge
Graesholt  [author] Jun 15, 2020 @ 10:03am
@OneFoxArmy
I don't understand what you mean.
Can I help you with something?
OneFoxArmy Jun 15, 2020 @ 1:14am
That why there goolge
Graesholt  [author] Jun 8, 2019 @ 1:09am
@Heider Uchiha
This is an old mod, and a very small request fr me to bust out the Creation Kit.
Didn't know Authurs dagger had a name. Hm...
Anyway, if this is important to you it's not too hard to do yourself.
Hope you have some fun with the mod, anyway...
Heider Jun 6, 2019 @ 10:57am
Can you swap the name of the daggers from Excaliburst to Carnwennan (The name of King Arthur's dagger in the stories)?
Zawaze Oct 13, 2018 @ 4:34am
As for other weapons, why not make weapons from other myths and legendslike Mjolnir or Gae Bolg
Zawaze Oct 13, 2018 @ 4:32am
Maybe you could switch names, as the Sword in the Stone is Caliburn, and the Sword of the Lady in the Lake is Excalibur.
Praise Megumin Mar 26, 2018 @ 3:11am
@ okay. Anyway thank you. ^^
Graesholt  [author] Mar 25, 2018 @ 12:42pm
@ Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz
I have not altered this mod since its release, and hardly even recall how I made it to work, but you need to have the appropriate perk unlocked to upgrade them, and take into account that they may only be upgraded to dragonbone level.
Other than that, I don't think I can help you.
Been out of the modding game for too long...
Praise Megumin Mar 23, 2018 @ 7:09am
Gou can temper them normally but can't upgrade them with dragonbones. Did you change that?
oli Feb 10, 2018 @ 4:36am
Great blades

@mdc1987
Tim:Right there!
Arthur:Where?
Lancelot:Behind the rabbit?
Tim:It is the rabbit! The killer rabbit of caerbannog!
Random Warrior: Oi you tit! I'll finish it off easy.
*Killer Rabbit bites his juglar out
Tim:I WARNED YEA! I WARNED YEA! BUT YOU DIDN'T LISTEN TO ME. NOOOOO! YOU THOUGHT IT WAS JUST A HARMLESS LITTLE BUNNY RABBIT
mdc1987 Jun 2, 2017 @ 8:48pm
Should add the rabbit of caerbannog (Monty Python The Quest For The Holy Grail) as a boss enemy
Artorîas Dec 7, 2016 @ 3:11pm
if only this mod didnt need dawngaurd it would work for me, because i only have the base game and dragonborn
RitzyTritzy Sep 20, 2016 @ 7:11pm
Hilt was the wrong word. I was referring to the guard on the iron sword. Since Excalibur is depicted many different ways, and a couple of skyrim's swords (like iron and steel for example) it does make sense that you chose dwarven. A dwarven design makes it seem old and powerful, which it is. I will also check out that other mod, I could use the weapons for my followers.
Graesholt  [author] Sep 19, 2016 @ 2:37am
@Hyrulez444
I feel that this is one of those cases where oppinions just differ.
I made them all dwarven to have cohesive design through and through.
That's the way they're staying.

I'm very pleased that you enjoy my mod, though, and glad that it improved your experience.

Lastly, I'm not sure what you mean about curved hilt.
Are you referring to the spiral that goes up the hilt of the Iron Sword?
Anyway, if you like Iron Weapons, check out my Lunar Waepons mod. The sword is one of my favorites in that one, I thought it came out great...
RitzyTritzy Sep 18, 2016 @ 10:05am
The only thing that could make this even better is if you rextextured the iron sword and made that Excaliburn, so it that have that curved hilt it always has. I'm playing as King Arthur in Skyrim, and using this mod made my playthrough feel like it was what actually happened in Skyrim.

Graesholt  [author] Jul 30, 2016 @ 12:15pm
@Dark_Stone
That sounds very odd.
Dark_Stone Jul 30, 2016 @ 1:00am

Dark_Stone Jul 30, 2016 @ 1:00am

Graesholt  [author] Jul 29, 2016 @ 11:49am
@Dark_Stone
I'm not sure what you mean by free DLC?
No, I believe I paid for all mine...?
Dark_Stone Jul 28, 2016 @ 6:00pm
graeshot did you get free dlc because i got free hearthfire and dragonborn i only had dawnguard
Dark_Stone Jul 28, 2016 @ 5:58pm
np sorry it took me so long to repliy but its probaly one of my favorite swords mods
Graesholt  [author] Jul 27, 2016 @ 8:27am
@Dark_Stone
To be perfectly honest, my texturing expertise is nothing to write home about, but thank you very much for the kind words (:
Dark_Stone Jul 26, 2016 @ 9:16pm
i love the look of the dwarven sword but when its retexured this good it makes me have to get this mod
Graesholt  [author] Jul 16, 2016 @ 9:01am
@Roaring Dragon
I'm not at all learned in the lore of king Arthur (although I find Merlin's legend very compelling for some reason).
In most modern depictions, however, the Excalibut has something to do with dragons, whether being created by them or killing them, so I went with the former, as Skyrim is full of dragons and your job is mostly to kill them.
I'm delighted that you enjoy my work (:
Roaring Dragon Jul 15, 2016 @ 1:01am
Why is it strong against dragons... Great weapons mod, looks great and is not to op. But as I recall it Excalibur was forged by dragonfire and could kill everything (even the unkillible). Wouldnt it at least make sence to give it extra dmg to undead (just like dawnbreaker). But otherwise, one of the greatest easteregg improvment mods and weaponmods in just one mod.
Graesholt  [author] May 4, 2016 @ 8:31am
@Anubys
I do not believe that you can temper the weapons, but I don't remember.
The weapons can, however be upgraded at a forge, provided you have the needed materials.
Read the desciption for further info on the matter.
Yiryi-Sa May 3, 2016 @ 10:34am
I finally got around to trying the mod at Lady of the Lakes and Rebel's Cairn. This is really cool stuff, and strangely fits the game's back drop & lore with some rough edges. Although I understand the weapons have tiers based on the Smithing tree, how does the tempering of the weapon work?
Graesholt  [author] May 2, 2016 @ 8:26am
@Anubys
They are not from any particular place, no.
I just googled around and found three that I liked.
I believe one was from Warhammer Online, and two others were from concept art, possibly for the same, possibly for something else entirely.
Too long ago to say for sure...
Yiryi-Sa May 1, 2016 @ 4:33pm
Did the dwarven faces come any particular source in the Warhammer universe? Or did you create them from inspiration?
Graesholt  [author] May 1, 2016 @ 7:15am
@Anubys
It is. And I commend you for respecting my wishes.
Yiryi-Sa May 1, 2016 @ 6:16am
That's unfortunate. I suppose it's a rarity that I even ask for permission.
Graesholt  [author] May 1, 2016 @ 5:53am
@Anubys
I do not have te retextured glowing swords on me at the moment, no.
You are very welcome to perform any alterations you see fit to enhance your experience with my mod, however, due to some unfortunate experiences in the past, involving some extremely ill-mannered individuals in the modding scene, I no longer permit uploading or sharing of my content in any way, shape, or form.
This point I must insist is non-negotiable.
Yiryi-Sa May 1, 2016 @ 5:23am
Do you have retextured and glowing swords without the Dwarven symbols from the Warhammer universe available? Otherwise, I suppose I could try and remove the symbols with your blessing and credit.
Normad Dec 30, 2015 @ 3:32pm
should've made it like the one from fate stay night. that looked cool
Graesholt  [author] Oct 29, 2015 @ 6:35pm
@Intension
It is not a simple request, though. That is where you are wrong; it is quite an undertaking to model “an axe or a bunch of axes” and plus the one you threw a request in for at the end there.
My panties are perfectly untangled, I am simply pointing out the discourteousness of asking me for mod-work that has nothing to do with any of my other work.
None of my mods contain modelling work, because much like you lacking the patience to learn about modding, I do not desire to pick up 3d-modelling.
I am not here to entertain you.
I already provide free content, and you are welcome to take it or leave it. It is not my job to do anything more than that because you “don’t […] have the patience”.

You are correct. I misspelled 'paid'.
Graesholt  [author] Oct 29, 2015 @ 3:02pm
@Intension
Lastly, do not refer to work-assignments you give me as 'bonuses'.
I do not get payed to make mods for you. If I did any work for you out of the goodness of my heart, there would be no bonus in it whatsoever, so the words "also as a bonus you could [...]" carries no incentive for me.
Graesholt  [author] Oct 29, 2015 @ 3:02pm
@Intension
Please refer from making mod-requests that have nothing to do with the mod you are posting on.
The genericity of your request leads me to believe you may be posting the same request on more mods than my own, which is the direct opposite of flattering.
This is like you seeing me get into my car, and asking me if I could build you one, because you know, you do not have the patience to figure where to get it or how it works.

The problem you want me to solve would not be doable the way you propose (I don't know if you would even care to know that, because, you know, you don't have the patience to learn how to mod), as the orientation of a sheathed weapon has less to do with the weapon itself, and is more of a rigging issue.
TL;DR: If I made axes that looked 'right' to you, your character would hold them by the head in combat.
Graesholt  [author] Jul 19, 2015 @ 2:29am
@Brudder Wessel
The code of the weapon is different for every game, depending on how many mods you're running and in what load order, so I can not provide you a code that would work.
You will have to use the Help command in the console to find out what code you need to use.
Tareldar Jul 18, 2015 @ 5:20pm
I am experiencing the same problem as corry.hewitt, do you know what the code is so I can insert it via console commands?
Graesholt  [author] Mar 22, 2015 @ 6:19am
@corry.hewitt
Anytime
Corry681 Mar 22, 2015 @ 6:07am
thats fine. i will try to switch round the load order and see if that will work. thanks for the help anyway.
Graesholt  [author] Mar 22, 2015 @ 6:06am
@corry.hewitt
I am afraid that I cannot help you then.
Apologies.
