surprised that there is no final smash buddy compatablility, as that is a huge thing in the game with a few too many ultamate atacks

That's great to hear! And yeah that would be cool to see more Hi-Fi characters though if I'd get back into developing then it may be someone else though. Definitely keeping it mind however!

I figured it out; would you believe that beta branch 2.1.0.5 breaks the code for a LOT of characters in the workshop? Chai included. But everything’s working fine, you’d stayed hella true to his character and he plays like a DREAM! Well done! I’d love to see you do more HFR characters~

Hm maybe you just somehow didn't install the character correctly? Seems to work fine on most set ups but if you know what exactly is missing then just shoot me a message.

Would appreciate it! I’m on branch 2.1.0.5, if that helps. I’ve only recently gotten into the workshop and I don’t fully know the ins/outs yet.

The character doesn't work? I've been taking a break from dev stuff for awhile but I'll get to looking into what I can do to fix or adjust anything soon.

There was previously an issue with Chai where restarting the match causes the game to crash. I fixed this in this latest patch as well as added more features such as a CSS option to toggle default BPM and some fixes to the BPM speeds as well.

After some considerable testing I've added compatibility for the Beat Hit BPM to be based on a base stage's music! Play on a base game stage and it'll change the BPM of the Rhythm bar to match that of the stage! Still plan to further refine it but check out the latest patch to try it out!

VERY COOL CHARACTER! i had the thought of chai in rivals just a couple weeks ago, so im really happy to see it a reality! my one gripe is that the rhythm being separate from the actual music makes it very confusing and hard to use. otherwise, awesome!!!

Yeah I recall trying to add that to at least the default stages but it ended up not feeling too good when I tested it. I could probably try looking into it more in a later update however
