This mod loads and works fine, but makes my game freezes and then crashes when I attempt to save any new game with it, so not really usable. The log is not descriptive, but I narrowed down the crash to enabling this specific mod.

Hi. Before I subscribe, I'd like to ask, if this mod helps assign certain lines to certain stops. In my current city I have a train station and two lines stop there but I can't drag two other lines there. I'm hopeful that I can do it with this mod. Thanks

I just updated the mod to make it work, redoing the entire UI is very complex and not something i am planning to do.

Tested this mod and the UI is impossible to deal with. The information box is constantly getting stuck behind other information boxes in game. It's also disorganized and not intuitive in its use. Needs to be simplified.

If you're having problems despawning vehicles with this mod, I got the following information from mistermcd:


"When you switch vehicles, if you don't click the "Remove all models not allowed on each line" and you will only have the vehicles you specify on the line. If you have bus type A (or train type A) and then switch to type B without pushing the remove button, then yes, type A and type B vehicles will remain on the line, but after you press the button, the Type A vehicles will despawn and you have only Type B running the lines.

That button is on the "Asset Selection" tab, right next to the trash can icon, its a red circle with a cross thru it (like a no smoking sign, but a bus instead of a cig).

You can control number of vehicles as well by budget, variable throughout the day, same with ticket prices. So low budget at night some buses will go back to depot and save you money, rush hour comes and ramp things up.

Works best with the RealTime mod."

The mod is nice but the interface :-)
The detail window is always in the upper right corner behind other mods.
The questions is how to move the window to the middle of the screen so I can use the color setting dialog?

Can confirm. When switching a line (metro in my case) to another type of vehicle, the old trains don't despawn. A line that originally had 3 trains, has 8 after changing the vehicle type. I haven't been able to find a way to manually remove vehicles from a line either. It's also kinda hard to know what actually 'saves' the new vehicle type. When clicking on a type, it doesn't change it, but when selecting 'Use specific config in this line', the selected model is deselected.

When I switch a line from one vehicle to another (for example from buses with 90 capacity to buses with 150 capacity), the old vehicles don't despawn so they don't get replaced with new vehicles. Only when I increase the budget, any additional vehicles will be the new ones. Is this intentional? Do I just have to wait longer? Or do I have to set the budget to 0 and then back up again?

@t1a2l I saw that there was an option to switch languages in the game description, but there was no option to change the language in the game settings, and the author forgot to make it

I tried upgrading from TLM 14.4 to 14.5 but it keeps showing Could not load type 'Klyte.Commons.Interfaces.DataExtensionBase`1' from assembly 'TransportLinesManager, Version=14.3.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'. [System.TypeLoadException]

@delfina: I've found this too. I fix it by using MoveIt! to extend the station segment another few units (hold the alt key held to grab the usually locked node of the rail). I also use Node Controller to extend the node out to allow for smoother direction changes, which has the byproduct of forcing waiting trains to not cross into the node, and block it up.

@t1a2l I confirm that Write the sign is not compatible with this fix (checked that with an old city and a new one) - public transport buildings, both from mods and vanilla game, start flickering. It's sad because I love Write the sign, but it's quite predictable. Would be great if you could fix the problem, but anyway, thanks for your work 😊

Great Mod, though it ts sadly not compatible with the Mod "Real Time". The 'Per hour' Settings run on their own pace, and only sync with the actual gametime, when its paused and unpaused.

Sadly, there is some compatibility issue with my setup or (maybe) write the signs is outdated or something, cause i have issues with rendering - props and buildings flicker and disappear on different zoom levels. It seems, I can't use WTS 😞

Would it be possible to make this version of TLM compatible with WriteEverywhere mod?
I'm trying to make direction signs on tram and bus models and is semi working, but it's inconsistent and in mod settings it says that Transport Lines Manager isn't connected

Ah, thanks for letting me know! Sadly enough the game still freezes when creating lines. Also, my memory (in task manager) goes from 35% when just playing cities skylines to 90% when creating a transport line (so when the game freezes)

Why doesn't my bus dispatching station send buses? Bus routes have been closed loop and bus dispatching station have been selected, but the selected bus dispatching station do not dispatch buses.

@cheungultan - if you have express buses on, there must be a terminus where buses unbounches. Yo can have more terminus stops by right clicking with a mouse on that stop.
