If you have the "Golden cookie alert sound" ascension upgrade it should be the first sound option ("chime") and it will play a sound preview when selecting the correct sound. Also additionally check your mod load order and move this further up the priority list if you have any additional sounds mods that might be conflicting.

It should be selected on the *default* golden cookie sound, it's more of a sound replacement than an additional sound because I don't know to implement a new option without it breaking with CSSE. Try checking if the mod is enabled in the mods folder it should be disabled by default. If it doesn't work I'll check into fixing it. I'm glad you enjoy my mod :)
