Hey everyone, I've come back to Kenshi after a long while, so I'm going to start updating my mods again! I've got exams relatively soon, so I won't be that fast on the updates. I've also discovered the secret art of file compression meaning the absolutely superfluous size of my mods will be no more. Apologies for not fixing it until now!

Since recently the scavenger backpack has no loot in it. It's empty. Does anyone have any idea why that would happen? Doesn't seem like the mod has been updated recently.

if I could say anything about this mod it's this.

1. the loot they have in terms of the loot on the mule is not worth it.
2. they're crazy powerful for being just scavengers, they need a small nerf in stats
3. Gutterhead needs a 20k or 30k bounty to justify raiding his stronghold now that the place is way harder and so is he.

Other than all that I love this mod and what it adds to the game. Would love to see other custom armor types on them too similar to scavenger's can.

I don't feel very compelled to raid their base. The 15k reward for Gutterhead sounds underwhelming when compared to the 40k from the Vodoo Brothers. Does the loot compensate?

Personally, I'd like to see a "lite" version of this (and other 'Minor Faction Overhaul') without the new weapons or new armor. For one thing, new weapons and armor makes most these mods too large - most being over 100 MB. For another, many players (like myself) like to use weapon and armor mods and, often, there will be overlaps, either in how the weapons and armor looks or how they're named.

The scavengers seem pretty strong. I've seen them beat the ninjas at the Hub.

I don't usually comment on anything, but I just saw a group of like 17 scavengers raid a 4 home shit village and take the arms and legs of multiple militia members, severely wound the starving peasants, and then steal what meager food they had and run off into the sunset.:steamthumbsup:

The scavs are coming out near equal to the strength of most of the HC troops patrolling the Okran's Valley region as well; you might want to either scale them slightly back or move them away from the low level starting regions. You did them justice though and their gear looks great; thanks for the amazing mod!

as for the early game balancing, i don't know if its intentional but one patrol of like 17 or so, just rolled over The hub, killing and dismembering the guards at 10 minutes of a new save D:

The scavengers have been nerfed slightly in strength and numbers so they shouldn't completely roll the samurai. The scavengers spawn very rarely in UC territory anyways until Tengu is killed.

They spawned all across the south-east from Stormgap Coast to Sniper Valley and The Crags, but very rarely. Their HQ was the old control tower in Venge. I expanded their reaches across the continent so that they actually lived up to the name 'Scavenger'

Love the revamp, raiding murder hobos!

A thought: I noticed their patrols in the UC are pretty dang powerful. Watched one group of these guys just annihilate several samurai patrols outside Heng. Not sure how intentional this is but I personally found it a bit jarring. Could maybe split the faction and lower the stats to more Rebel Farmer levels for the UC? So you can keep them tough for the Pits and other areas with big Scavenger patrols.

I don't know any conflicts so far, but the mod doesn't change anything drastic so there shouldn't be any complete conflicts.

Scavenger's can looks pretty good, it fits into the game perfectly
