The Renown refunded also doesn't seem to cover the cost of the Legacies refunded. I've refunded 9 and only received enough Renown to buy 7.

The Renown you regain from the refund counts towards your Splendor level. I refunded 5 Legacies and catapulted my Dynasty's Level of Splendor from Insignificant to Significant. That's 4 whole levels even with the -1 Splendor levels from the decision.

Only refunds ones that are incomplete legacies. If you finish a dynasty legacy, it will no t refund
