For anyone else who wanted the alternate robot portrait like me, they are still in the mod files. Just open the folder from the paradox launcher, then go to: gfx > portraits > portraits. Then open msv_portraits_robotic_01.txt , with a text editor and find:

portrait_groups = {
ms_robotic_01 = {

and change it to,

portrait_groups = {
sd_hum_robot = {

With that done save the changes you made to msv_portraits_robotic_01.txt , and then open msv_portraits_robotic_02.txt then find and change,

portrait_groups = {
sd_hum_robot = {

to

portrait_groups = {
ms_robotic_02 = {

save the changes and you now have the mod set up to use the alternate robot portrait.
