Good luck @Master Astropath Guidius Losenti, this mod would make the tome of terramancy so nice for undergrounders like me in the game. Have you made any recent progress or decided to stop due to the afformentioned difficulties?

I've changed the targeting definitions, the overlay definition for bedrock, I've gone through all the settings for the terraforming spells. Genuinely, either I'm missing something really big or it's hard-coded to not work. Or something. There is a bewildering amount of stuff going on, and it's not very clear how it interacts.

I've tried to update this mod for the latest game version but for some godforsaken reason even though bedrock is set as terraformable and all the terraforming definitions explicitly allow bedrock, it still doesn't work. It's a real PITA

Disabled all mods, (I only have four) it doesn't seem to work. A great pity

idk if maybe one of my tome mods is interfering with this one but shatter earth doesn't work underground at least for me.. will try the create forest and restore the land spells, maybe they will work

I can use it underground

I don't seem to be able to terraform bedrock. :-(

create forest no longer terraforms UG bedrock into forest

This is great, but the spell doesn't allow me to select underground provinces that have any water in them. Any way to fix that?

the error in the launcher about missing meta has gone, and the mod still works well ie 'create forest' or 'earth shatter' both work on bedrocks, thx

Now, the problem should go. But mod should work without metadata, yes?

erm, i get the same error if i look at the mod in the launcher ie missing manifest buuuut .... i can use create forest on bedrock and it removes it so .... works like a charm!

The problem is still there. The Metadata for this isn't appearing or showing up.
