Aaaaaaaand fixed. To a degree. The problem is EPE, which adds it's own version of the entire ingame.txt file which is taking precedence regardless of load over. I had to copy the #MOD section from this mods file and paste it into the EPE version of the ingame file to get it working again.

Ok, so some digging, this mod doesn't add any dds files but rather directs the game to use existing base game ones. For some reason, it's not directing correctly anymore.

Was just going to say the same. Playing along and started to notice the lack of battle backgrounds all of a sudden. Checked the likes and they were gone. Tried unsubbing and resubbing but didn't reset them. Very strange.

I'm a little confused... There is no dds image in this file.

@child_of_air More Bookmarks+ likely does. Also, if you have More Background Illustrations, what this mod does is already part of it. If you want those compatched you can grab the ingame.txt file from my super compatch and use it.

There was a big mod called Dynamic Trading or something, it added tons of immersive features, including dynamic background like this here. Unforunately ever since the Tournement dlc, the modder has disappeared, and according to some people here, that mod wont get updated anytime soon.. It's really sad..

Any way to shade out the spouse when not in the same place? Could look weird if your wife is represented at the battle. Something like, but different from, when they're dead and greyed out.
