Lumina

No. You still need to use Ultimate Eyecandy to alter time of day, but since Lumina no longer disables itself with other like-mods, you can now have them both in. I didnt use Lumina specifically because it didnt have all the features of UE, even though its a "successor" according to Skyvee. But now, I will try again and just ignore the compatibility warning, and hope it works.

Is there a way to change time of day/pause time of day with this? The nights are TOO dark! If there is, I can't find a way.
Floggingday Nov 7 @ 6:40pm
If you want decals to work properly, turn off vanilla mode in Visibility control
CitesSkyliner Oct 14 @ 9:01am
So you have to either use Lumina which is still not complete and still very broken. Or you can use the very old relight. Pick your pain.

This one makes my savegame unloadable?

Also, Lumina works great, but for some reason all of the shadows of the trees flicker like crazy at a distance. What setting can I tweak to change this?
Playerguy11 Oct 6 @ 1:49pm
Is there anything that can do what environment changer did, but without crashing?
Memerick_ Sep 23 @ 7:49pm
Why is everything so DARK? TURN ON THE LIGHTS!
Lowke Sep 14 @ 3:32am
Anyone else getting sound stutters with this ?
Jon Sep 12 @ 10:22am
@Thorgon, I have never had decals working correctly with Lumina
Thorgon Sep 12 @ 9:38am
@Leon, is there a way to roll back to an earlier version which displayed decals properly?
Jon Sep 11 @ 10:13am
@ChaoticDucc try lowering the "Simulation Speed", which affects cameras
Jon Sep 11 @ 7:36am
@Thorgon , when I use it, I notice the depth buffer in ReShade is also messed up. The resolution is also not 16:9 ratio, so something is causing like a different ratio when using the dynamic resolution. Can't figure it out, wish I could because Lumina dyn res seems better optimized than the old mod.
Thorgon Sep 10 @ 9:10pm
@Leon, I have the same problem. No clue how to fix it.
Shawshank Sep 3 @ 12:35am
crushes my game while loading
Jon Aug 28 @ 12:09pm
dynamic resolution still breaks large decals' appearance for me!, otherwise working fine. Am I missing something?
ChaoticDucc Aug 26 @ 5:14am
Why does this mode cause my camera controls to speed up? Pressing W for example makes the camera move faster then it would normally. It's really disorientating.
afmjr28 Aug 4 @ 8:37am
How can i replace cubemap with lumina?
Mighty_Alex Jul 18 @ 5:57pm
Hi Nyoko, thank you for all your work with these replacement mods for relight. Does anyone know of a quick guide that uses any of the newer mods like Render It and Lumina without using Relight? All the guides I see keep saying Relight even with Render it and it's sad because pretty sure relight is too much for my pc
Snake Jul 18 @ 1:53am
So... I run Daylight Classic because I can't get that look with anything else. And I run Lumina for the downsampling from 4k and the sharper shadows and shadow offsets only.

However, is there a way to make the conflict warning between the two mods stop popping up every single time I load a save?
Ileen D. Sun Jul 17 @ 2:42pm
is it possible to add a slider to choose the day time?
Thorgon Jul 7 @ 8:20am
is there a setting to fix decals being off center?
williet4038 Jun 25 @ 9:08am
@Nyoko, your solution solved my problem. Thanks for the quick response.
Nyoko  [author] Jun 24 @ 2:53pm
@williet4038 Yeah, some overlay bug, click the ? icon in the styles tab and it should work.
williet4038 Jun 24 @ 12:33pm
I can't access the Styles section on the Global tab. I can see the styles, but when I click on them nothing happens. The entire section seems slightly grayed out. I have tried unsubscribing and resubscribing to both Lumina and the styles and nothing changes. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Here is s link to my most recent Lumina log file: https://1drv.ms/u/c/74ba687b67b851ad/EcV_Q9oRubxHogt8fpXuzpgBmG-1066pMdae3Be97fJvoA?e=RcfQmO

@Nyoko Awesome, this update perfectly solved the day and night cycle problem, but the fog distance still needs to rely on the render it mod to solve it, when can players get rid of the render it mod
Nyoko  [author] Jun 15 @ 10:27pm
@IcyV0id 1.8.9 fixed that issue alongside others.
Whiteout Jun 15 @ 5:38pm
Was fixed for me, no idea why
Nyoko  [author] Jun 15 @ 1:53am
The test version has been updated. Let me know if you have the same issue with that one. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3050221040
Whiteout Jun 14 @ 1:30pm
Same here, no lighting tab for me. I have quite a few mods though. Some mods that I have that I think may impact this are:

Game Anarchy
Visibility Controller
ACME
Skyve
Loading Screen Mod

Not sure what else could cause the problem, i just listed a bunch of mods that may impact lighting i have no idea. Thank you in advance
Nyoko  [author] Jun 13 @ 4:35pm
Hey guys I wasn't able to reproduce the empty lighting tab with the live build. If you have a combination of mods let me know!
Nyoko  [author] Jun 13 @ 4:23am
Hello guys the issue has been identified not sure what happened, it was working fine last time I tested.

Will test once again later today and provide a fix.
Demiurge_Bobby Jun 13 @ 3:26am
The Lighting page is completely empty after the update. May I ask for further fixation?
johnston Jun 12 @ 3:43pm
I saw the same thing where the Lighting tab is completed gone.
Ryu.Deacon Jun 12 @ 3:17pm
The "lighting" tab in the Lumina mod seems to be completely empty since this update, I can adjust global settings and fog visualization but any options under lighting now seem gone.
Final Cat Pro Jun 9 @ 2:19pm
I appreciate you updating the mod so quickly! I was just commenting to share what I was experiencing and I didn't expect the dev to do anything about it, but thank you for the effort you continue to put into this mod.
Nyoko  [author] Jun 9 @ 3:13am
I accidentally deleted one of you guys comments, my mistake, if you have a bug please comment on it.
Nyoko  [author] Jun 9 @ 2:38am
1.8.8 was released, targets Dynamic Resolution specifically.

The other issues you guys mentioned are being investigated.
ℕ𝕠𝕩 Jun 8 @ 5:38pm
Enabling dynamic resolution breaks large decals' appearance, otherwise working fine.
Final Cat Pro Jun 7 @ 4:11pm
New update seems to work a little worse with dynamic resolution. I did manage to get it to permanently stay on before updating. Yeah it's nice that it immediately updates in the settings but I still have to enable it every time I start the game in the main menu before I load my save. If you wait until you're in-game, it does not apply the dynamic resolution when you change the value. My preset is still having errors saving as well, but I can understand if this is a conflict with other mods or something.
Nyoko  [author] Jun 5 @ 11:10pm
1.8.7 was released, please see how it performs.
Final Cat Pro Jun 5 @ 2:39pm
This mod's great when it works, but I have to redo the settings every time I load my save since the presets never save for some reason. Dynamic resolution also turns off every time I launch the game, and I have to activate it, turn the mod on and off, and it finally appears. Pretty frustrating, I don't know why it's so hard.
2603770442 May 17 @ 5:03am
1 or several incompatible mods ?But I've turned off all the mods with similar functions. Why are there still issues?
Misaka May 9 @ 8:47am
Fix, this mod is making my save not open
Krm250 May 8 @ 6:29am
this mod made me unable to click anything in the menu

If you have Render It!, turning off Bloom in Post-Processing.
If your theme is too dark/gloomy but increasing Sun Intensity only increase the bright part, increase the Exposure in Lumina's Global Setting. BUT if you also have Theme Mixer, then increase the Exposure in that instead as it overrides Lumina. Save and set as default your new setting in Theme Mixer.

It's good practice to match the setting between Lumina, Render It, and Theme Mixer. Some of them will override each other, so take some time to just go over all the overlapping setting and set them as same number. Turning OFF some features in Render It also helps with configuration, as Lumina is more easier to tinker with.
MealDeal Apr 24 @ 8:22am
hi this seems such a trivial question but I'm trying to fix how ridiculously bright the lights (street lights, building-attached lights etc.) are at night. They are too bright, too bloomy, too glowy.

I reckon there's a bloom setting that I somehow missed from Lumina or maybe there's some other mod or settings that I should look into for it?

thank you ahead of time.
Audaki Apr 23 @ 7:22pm
Thank you for this mod, I’ve tried all the other ones (like Render It, Daylight Classic) and this mod is the only one that fixes the complete blowout (and luminance clipping!) of white roofs in European Theme maps.

It seems like this mod is doing some magic, since my issue is fixed even if I don’t change any setting in it. Merely by virtue of being enabled the blowout/clipping is fixed and I can finally see a roof again instead of a white blob.
