This mod is built on many intrusive patches, the new gestalt engine has changed a lot of fields into private, making the patch process a total mess. The poor code is unmaintainable.

You can accomplish what this mod does up to a point on your own, find the Gestalt Engine mod folder in the steam workshop folder for Rimworld, i'm just going to assume you know how to navigate to this and know how to find workshop ID's and such, go to 1.6>Patches>Mod Settings and open Slider Patches in notepad scroll down to "Mechanoid Max Bandwith - Level 4" under that heading go to <range>0~50</range> you can change the 50 to whatever higher value you want, you can also change the <defaultValue>24</defaultValue> to correspond with the max value if you dont want to adjust the in game settings. Just note you might have to redo this every time the mod is updated though, but it's one of those little hacks you can use to customise your in game experience to your liking.

It's a long-existing issue. Rimpy has internal database which has been severly outdated. My suggestion is just ignore that warning.

Update for future subscribers: The mod does work as intended with Gestalt Engine (Continue) and Mech Only Caravan. I don't know why it didn't work earlier, but if it doesn't for you, try unsubbing and subbing again.

I started a whole new playthrough via dev quicktest. Spawned a gestalt engine on dev mode, attached a lancer to it. But it still won't allow it to go on a caravan by itself, saying "Cannot Add: Gestalt level too low".

The problem is still there for me. Still says "Cannot Add: Gestalt level too low". I tried dismantling the old gestalt engine and making new one, but it still gives me the same message. I did use the mod settings on the Gestalt Engine (Continued) to allow caravan on level 1 upgrade. Maybe I should've left it be? Or do I have to remove the mod and add it back in for the patch to take effect?

@Cedaro I am having the same issue as ahrensmjr. I cannot add any mech that's controlled by the Gestalt Engine to a caravan.

@Cedaro The issue is that there's something specifically with the code of the infinite gestalt engine that doesn't mesh with how the continued version of the RM2 mod allows for mech caravans at and past certain gestalt engine levels.

The current version of this mod conflicts with how the caravans work in Reinforced Mechanics 2 (Continued). If you can change this, that would be nice.

It's not compatible. RimPy is throwing red errors.
It's missing dependencies: mlie.gestaltengine and Reinforced Mechanoids 2 (the original one).
This mod IS NOT compatible with either one or both of Mlie's continued versions of this mod.
It's dependent on the originals, which have been removed from the workshop.

@Anomaly actually there wasn't, as mentioned in description, you can tweak values by editing the Patches/gestalt.xml file inside mod folder.
