i mean you can use it on pretty much any nextbot-chase map like gm_backrooms. I personally like using it on gleb, house labyrinth, rp_southside & gm_liminal_space

you should probably update this addon since my friends and i used to play with it alot.

i'd like some suggestions as i know gm_construct works pretty well

Hows the V2 going?

Make sure its 16 bit pcm and not 32 bit float. I would use audacity for this since it would be the easiest. It could also just be that the addon is broke since I haven't updated this since 2023.

The NPC isn't accepting any new sounds. I made sure they're WAV files, they're pulled directly from the sound browser, yet for some reason, every new sound I try to give it doesn't work, even if I can play it through the sound browser. Weirdly enough, using sounds I've had before has no problem, even if I remove and readd it to the bot, it's only recently added sounds

i dunno if its just the map im on but i cant get it to not be omniscient

The Chase Music thing doesn't accept spaces for some reason. Every time I try to put a sound that has a space in it's file path, it gets rid of the spaces and doesn't play the music at all. Makes finding chase themes very restricted. Could you fix this? Oh, wait, your doing a version 2. So I'm assuming that this will be fixed in that version?

is there a way for us to change the bodygroup?

Could we get a sneak peak of V2 whenever it's in a ready-enough state to show off? The wait is killing me!

the mod is sending me lua errors . and its says it uses an "NULL Entity" . can you fix that ?

I'm redoing it right now. Just starting off from scratch. I hope this project doesn't die like last time or the other 20 ones that I worked on.

This Nextbot/Npc is probably the most fun and genuine scare's I've ever had in Garry's Mod. But also funny in a way (Because I find it funny sometimes in a way)

For some reason, when the NPC sees me, it freezes in place. It doesn't even show an error. :/

I figured out whats causing the error message to appear every time you delete the entity.
you need to uncheck Omniscience. At first I thought it was the model that was causing the error, but then I unchecked the omniscience box and the error stopped showing up. I even tested this several times to make sure it wasn't anything else.

I add several ambient and few chase music and they overlapping
Each track is playing at the same time

I use the sound browser mod to put sound on my character, i put the fart sound on my character when he touches or attacks you.
