Report a translation problem
Cannot be done if the character who has reroll participated in the fight though as characters are exhausted the moment they are selected to fight.
The flavour of the parties and their skills are really fun also, our only problems is that monsters in general are almost too easy to beat with vanilla parties.
Can't thank you enough for your translation, this is my favourite manga and it makes me incredibly happy to be able to play it!
I'm planning to buy the physical board game from Amazon Japan, and was wondering if you could share the translated pdf of the rulebook ?
Kind regards
-The back of the Warg monster card has been fixed to have it's name instead of "Big Walking Mushroom"
-For the tokens, I need to do a double check with the translator (One user did translations, I did photoshopping and uploading) on the scoring for money/food.
The Scorecard says money, and the example the manual shows only shows players getting points off money (See "Example of Game End") so I am inclined to believe that you get 1 point per 3 money, not 3 food/money. Once I have confirmation on this I can do a quick update.
Oh, you think the sword token counts to the item/dish/trohy limit? Hmm. I don't think anything in the manual implies that.
Until then:
-Warg folllows the same rules as the Big Walking Mushroom, you can't cook the Orc Dog.
-I believe having the sword token means you own it. The flat +2 to a warrior or ninja is nice but it doesn't provide victory points. Might make a player think twice about throwing the Living Armor at another player!
-The manual is correct on the tokens for points. It is both remaining food and money
If you ever get a 6th card, you can choose which to discard and it returns to its pile, but you must keep Boss Monster Cards. If you cook a monster you still earn the tokens (mostly food) for cooking it. You can also use the special effects of item cards to return it to the stock pile after winning tokens.
As for Monster Maker, there may be a translation online at Board Game Geek. It may be possible to get it on TTS and I might try to do some digging on that.
Small rules question: there isn't any limit on items, right? Only the 5 limit on cooked monsters/boss trophies?
Also somewhat related, this seems to be mechanically based on Monster Maker (rulebook mentions as much), I wonder if it would be possible to get that game on TTS. It seems to have a lot of expansions and crossovers.
