just beat survivor with this + survival + less food and some other stuff, super fun and unique experience, felt like playing for the first time again, not knowing what's around any corner (literally)

https://github.com/zombieseatflesh7/RainWorld-LineOfSight/blob/eaf3b490954c3d6af464141dd550de84dbd5a0ef/LineOfSight/LOSController.cs#L95 - some types can still be `null`(basically random, but should be consistent for a set of mods), which will cause exception at line 100 - either skip `null` types or use something, like:

Alright the Watcher issues are from a different mod, but I can confirm that a mod is breaking line of sight in a way that the self mode does not work (you cannot see self when unconscious) and allowed creatures don't work (I can see pole plants). Using as little mods as possible the mod works just fine, but I have sifted through 1/3 of my 150 or so mods and I cannot find the mod. Sorry for filling up the comments section.

I have been searching through my modlist for very long, verified my game multiple times, and yet I found nothing. I will let you know when I do find it, but so far I have found nothing.

I am. I am currently going through all my mods to try and fix this, I have had other rendering/visual bugs lately too and it has been a huge mystery.

I have been having issues lately with this mod, I am certain it is some sort of mod incompatibility. But for some reason the "can see certain creatures" option will not work, the "can see self" option will not work, and it breaks the effects of Watcher.

I am certain this is not an issue with the mod itself but rather an incompatible mod.

if you want it to fade to black, just lower the visibility and brightness, or play on classic mode.

To answer some questions:
1. Updates are slow because i don't play Rain World very often. My main focus is on the story and fancy mode. I have not finished playing the downpour scugs yet. I am in the process of playing through each scug with this mod. So far i finished survivor, hunter, gourmand, and arti. I won't add support for other gamemodes or mods unless i like them.
2. Fancy mode is the intended way to use this mod. I don't plan on updating classic or fast render modes because they are inferior and can't be improved.
3. Fancy mode will half your framerate.
4. I don't plan on supporting safari mode or rain meadow right now.
5. I am working on a fix for arti's dream sequences, as well as some other small things that bothered me while playing the campaign.
6. I will be including the shaders in the github after the next update so anyone can compile the mod. If you wanna try adding compatibility for safari or another mod go ahead. Also feel free to contact me.

Is this mod resource intensive by any chance? Can it cause the game to lag if the config is set in a certain way?

Hard more is fun but it's difficult to find room exist pipes, not sure what a solution could be to make finding them just a little easier. Like, I can't see a pipe in the floor even if I stand nearby, they are visible only from almost directly above.

Okay, mod idea; FOV Memory. Levels are left in darkness unless revealed by what the Slugcat sees, leaving them visible until they spend a certain amount of time in another area.

I love using this.. something weirdly satisfying about it? Even if it causes me to die a lot more.

wouldn't recommend this to anybody on their first playthrough, because you'll miss so much of the art--but as someone who's been playing for years this is so THRILLING and terrifying and immersive on classic mode. Throw on the camera scroll mod-- maybe even use the experimental feature to zoom in a little more, and jump into an expedition--feels like playing a new game.

ESSENTIAL mod. not... for like, playing ALL THE TIME, but--you gotta try it at least once

Is the visual effects one of the rendering errors since rain and water effects seem to render very strangely
