Report a translation problem
The main issue is with how the way this mod's configs works. I literally handwrite the list of equippable items into modinfo.lua since it, to my knowledge, can't poke at any global variables like _G.Prefabs. There's tons of edge cases not handled like what the comments here mention.
For others, if you equip or change equipment depending on the settings, they will hide. It takes a bit for the client to adjust.

I can't seem to get the Polly Roger's Hat to be hidden by the mod though. I've spelled the prefab name correctly, the configs show up correctly, I've made sure the code runs when it's equipped, it just refuses to turn invisible. I'm really stumped on why it's not working at all so I've removed the option for it.
