@Deathwatch they don't help allies because they have no AI to do so, not sure about the animal situation though.

Ok I tried turning off my other mods to figure out if that was causing the problem and... well, now I have hive workers in my party but no hive prince or soldier, instead they're skeletons... I'm beginning to think the problem might just be on my end. xD I think I'll leave this be for now and just try something else, sorry for being a bother!

Hey, just tried it again (after unsubbing and subbing to make sure I got the update) and the Southern Hivers still don't care if a Black Gorillo turns my dudes into chutney right next to them. :/

Also, I don't think the Black Gorillos are aggroing on the Southern Hive either. I lured one deep into the starting town and then went into a building and it just waltzed out of the place slowly walking past all the Southern Hivers without reaggroing on them.

It's weird, it's like there's two unexpected behaviours happening, the Black Gorillos not aggroing on the Southern Hivers and vice versa, and them not helping allies when allies are attacked.

@Deathwatch Normally when I play in the Southern Hive area the Southern Hivers will fight wild black gorillos, and when I play as a hive exile its one of the strats to get them drones off my tail. This mod changes nothing about the Southern Hive and their relationship with them gorillos.

However, I think the drones might only attack the gorillos if the gorillos aggro on the Southern Hive characters, and the maybe the issue is that Southern Hivers have no AI that makes them go and help allies (protect allies) since the devs never intended to players to actually ally with them.

I re-uploaded the mod via FCS so let me know if at least the Black Gorillos don't aggro on you.

I don't want to mess with the droneguard's AI packages though since I don't want this mod interfering with other mods if someone forgets to turn this one off.

Hmm, nope, I started a new playthrough, went and found some Black Gorillos and they attacked me, I lured them back to town and the Southern Hivers did nothing about them brutalizing my stickmen lol. Any ideas?

If that's the case then I must have been attacked by normal ones since my relations with the Southern Hive were correctly set at 100. I'll try with your changes now and get back to you.

@Deathwatch I think the war gorillos are part of the southern hive faction, since they are their pets

I'm sure it was an ordinary Black Gorillo, are the War Gorillos marked any differently?

@Deathwatch I checked the default Southern Hive faction relations and they are not allied with the gorillo faction, that gorillo might've been one of their own War Gorillos. Nevertheless, I made you allied to the Gorillo faction along with forcing relations at 0 for wolves and wildlife. Hopefully this solved the issue for you.

@Deathwatch Yes there is, I will update it shortly. I forgot to make you an ally of the Gorillos faction for the Southern Hive Start.

So, amazing idea for a mod and I love it in concept, but I tried a Southern Hive start and was immediately savaged by two Gorillos that the nearby friendly Southern Hivers did nothing about because they're friendly with them. I even saw them bandage a Gorillo up later when it got involved in a fight between them and the Skeleton Legion, lol. Is there any way of making Gorillos at least non-hostile if you choose the Southern Hive Colonists start?

@luci-27master you do that like you would normally, by recruiting ronin in bars and such. Though that being said, maybe I should make it so you can recruit all the normal hivers at the hive, though I would need to figure out how to do that.
