If I remember correctly you gotta have to press 2 attack buttons the same time to use the bfg. Like the way you use other fill meter attacks. Don't remember exactly tho.

I have some ideas

1. if we change the heavy weapons like the normal shotgun, the plasma weapon the interchangeable machine gun like the master chief does

2. Use demons as an attack, use a cacodemon to get up, or have Pinky ram the opponent.

3. This one is similar to the previous one but this time you only use demon parts to attack or move like a Mancubus cannon or boost yourself with the Revenant's rocket launcher.

4. The last one is to put a bar that when charging with the damage inflicted on the rival has to press the normal attack and the special one to shoot with the bfg, or another is that while they attack you a fury bar is filled that increases their damage from Depending on the charge level, when the bar is maxed out it can do double damage, I propose this to encourage the player to constantly attack

When it comes to down air I think I can make it so he shoots 5-6 plasma shots in an arc that stuns, cus the plasma actually shoots pretty fast in doom and so it looks more like how it would look in the old game but get mostly the same result. As for rocket jump I tried to make it so when you're in air it sets you an up and backwards speed. Previously it gave you a speed boost, but that sometimes yeeted me out of the ring or gave me no upwards momentum.

I'll see what I can do with them. Yeah the amount of moves possible, I should use pistol too. I may gonna be able to make something like, what springtrap has where he drops down a casett and he can teleport there, just instead of casett he drops down lets say a teleporter or something like that, I can look into how that works. I roughly understand how does the extra objects works, and I think I can save the position of the thing which you drop down so you can teleport there. When it comes to effects I'll see what I can make or use from the base game.

down special-make rockets cooldown MUCH longer and nerf damage to like 15% and somehow implement rocket jumping so it doesnt kill you but gives you a mobility boost. Doom created this techinque so i think it should be included

jab-pistol shot instead of chainsaw swing
down tilt-downward chainsaw swing
neutral air -spin with fists like mario down special
forward air-hook that looks like blood punch from doom eternal it is punch so i dont see a problem
back air-like falcon back air but pistol shot
up air-shotgun shot upwards
down air-plasma gun glow that stuns (like an overheat)
down strong-chaingun barrage that covers like a ssg but in straight line
up strong-rocket upwards (uses rockets)
up special-it is very funny but there is mechanic in doom called telefrag because teleports create a bfg-like explosion so making a teleport would be a neat recovery tool
forward special-make it a downward angle while in air and increase fire rate on the ground
neutral special-remove the stun and make it just a tool to rack up damage like fox laser and fire while moving if possible

My main goal with this character is bring the classic doom guy into the game, so the constrains are what ever doom guy can use in an un modded game. So he has the fist, chainsaw, pistol, shotgun, chaingun, ssg, rocket launcher, plasma gun, and the bfg. That is my constrain on this guy. I can try to make him kick and what not, but it will look weird, cus I am no artist, and all I can do is have the sprites and edit them in gimp so it looks like he does something. I can try to use more of the powerups somehow, but those are not really qualify for simple attack moves.

I found the chaingun to be good at keeping people from jumping back up. As for similar attacks, I am just not an idea man. If you have ideas for attacks based on doom1-2 than I can try to make them.

Rocket launcher seems too strong and chaingun doesnt seem useful because plasmagun stuns more and forward and down smash seem too similar.
forward and back air is the same move.up air is weird.
