THANKS SO MUCH
i am very confused and would appreciate any explanation of how this is supposed to work
Nothing has changed about the UI buttons recently. Are you using a manual Save, or loading from the Workshop?
For reference, the UI buttons only display when you are sitting at the table (not in Grey/Spectator seats). They auto-hide when you have a search window open, and appear again once you close out of that search window. Players can also toggle hiding or displaying the UI buttons by typing "!UI" into the in-game chat.
Thank you for the Discord link.
I’ll try your suggestion about uploading the images directly. I’ll update you on progress.
Alternatively, you could manually load in a backup of the images; a cloudshare can be found in the Discord server that is linked in the mod (it's not my server; just a community server that people use to find matches, but I help out there when I can). The link to the Discord server can be found in the Notebook and in the Notes field at the bottom right of the UI, but here it is as well: https://discord.gg/qnrtXE3e3F
Dreamborn changed from having .webp files on the site and hosting separate jpegs available for us, to having Clouldflare automatically transform images. API requests from Tabletop Simulator are supposedly forcing .jpg variants. For most users, this works fine. For some, they are either getting caught in the bot challenge or are being served typeless / invalid images somehow.
I unfortunately don't control Dreamborn in any manner. You could try manually changing the file extension on those images if they are just missing the extension, or you can delete those images from your "My Games\Tabletop Simulator\Mods\Images" folder and try importing from Dreamborn again.
3vo, I would love to try and work with you to resolve this. The specific error I get is multiple "Load image failed unsupported format: UNKNOWN Supported formats: .jpg, .png, .webm, .mp4, .m4u, .mov, .rawt, .unity3d at " and then multiple web addresses. An example is https://cdn.dreamborn.ink/images/en/cards/002-003?tts .
When I navigate to this link, it brings up a card image for the correct card. If I right click and attempt to save picture as, it comes up as a .jfif file, which I think is an older .jpg file type, but I could be wrong.
Also, I have been unable to locate your Discord, and would love to join.
The flipping animation is cosmetic, so other players at the table don't actually see the card. In your situation, streaming your perspective, the easiest solution would be to just move the Deck Zone token closer to your hand. You can right-click the token and unlock it, then move it to your desired location. It will function anywhere on the table besides in the Inkwell zone.
When I play remote, I stream my tabletop simulator screen cause the mod is awesome and offer a clean neat visual. I just hide my hand zone so my opponent cant see my hand.
But when I draw a card, the cards flip in the air before reaching my hand.
So my opponent can guess the card I draw because he simply sees the cards fliping.
Is there a way to prevent this behavior ? Like hide the card till it reaches my hand, speed the drawing animation, flip the card only when it reach the private zone or whatever.
Yes, I highly recommend disabling the on-screen hand. You can press H to toggle it off. I go over how to disable it by default in the tutorial video though:

As far as I'm aware, the VR controls are unable to interact with anything XML related. I'd recommend first loading the mod outside of VR, import the deck, then save it to your Saved Objects.
Not sure what you mean by loading the script, and there are no cards on the table. You can use the Deck Importer tool to load in saved decks from either Lorcania, Dreamborn, or Inkborn.
If one of those specific sites is giving you trouble, you'll need to troubleshoot your connection to that site or try using one of the other sites.
I'm still working on updating the Puzzle Challenge Images; let me know if anyone runs into any other issues!
That sucks! but thank you for all your hard work!! Hope you get your replacement soon and everything works great!! Thanks again for managing this mod!!
They will be added back soon. The pump in my CPU cooler went out, so my computer has been inoperable for a bit. Should be getting a warranty replacement shortly.
If you don't see the placeholder text in the input field, it is likely an issue with your resolution / screen size settings. Try maximizing the game window and/or adjusting the resolution slider in game.
I have not updated the 4P or Ursula's Quest mods since Dreamborn changed some things on their end. Lorcania or Inkborn should work fine still for those, so please use those sites until I port over the changes for Dreamborn.
Or you can save your deck after importing from Dreamborn on the 1v1 table, then load it into whichever mod manually.

Hope this helps others
Error Message: Error in Script (Global):chunk_4:(794,5-50): bad argument #1 to '!!next_i!!" (table expected, got nil)
@TM5 @Joes Toes
Can you describe what is going on? What exactly are you pasting into the import field? Are you getting any error messages? What is being logged in the console in TTS (press ` or click the ~ icon at the top left of the chat box in game)?
You can use the included Deck Importer to import saved decks from any of the supported sites (Dreamborn, Inkborn, Lorcania).
Or you can import your own custom images, be it for brand new spoilers, fan-made cards, etc., via the Objects menu in game. If you want the custom cards to work with the automated scripting (auto questing, checking 'ink-ability', etc), you can manually encode the cards.
To manually encode, sit in the Black/GM seat, right-click a single card, and paste the following into the GM Notes field:
Lore=,Cost=,Inkable=,Rarity=,Strength=,Willpower=,Color=,,Type=,Classifications=,,
Inkable is either 0 or 1. Lore, Cost, Strength, and Willpower are positive numbers. Color, Type, and Classifications are lower case. You can have multiple Classifications separated by commas.
I've been in contact with the Dreamborn dev and believe we have a proper workaround. That change was pushed earlier this week.
If anyone is still having issues with importing from Dreamborn specifically, please let me know.
Any help / tips would be appreciated
