at all.
Just a hood shouldn't protect you completely from the sun, it's just too damn bright. Maybe there should be a leveling system, where the more of your skin is covered, the less sun damage you take? So like, robes will offer more protection than iron armor or something. I just don't want to 100% remove the most obvious downside to being a Vampire. :p
Mythical creations allows one to craft vanilla items that have Dragonbone/dragonscale/daedric stats (depending on what version of the mod(s) you have). Everything is based on vanilla items. I am fond of the nightingale armor set, and this mod did nothing for me in that regard.
Putting Vampires in Hoods below incompatible mods should eliminate conflicts, though. If that doesn't work, I'd be very surprised.
In all honesty, I'd be lying if I said I was planning on updating this, or any of my other mods, in the near future. As of right now, I have neither the desire nor the ability to continue working on them, the latter of which is the primary reason for the former. I'm sorry I can't help you get this into a working state. All I know is that it has worked before and that I haven't touched it since then.
My only suggestion would be to play around with your load order. That often has a lot to do with errors such as what you're describing. Try it with the mod at the top, the bottom, and somewhere in between. If that doesn't work, you'll probably end up using something like the vampire ring mod described below (I cringe at the very idea of suggesting something without even a semblance of lore-friendliness, but it really is the next-best option).
I suppose that fits my goal of having it only apply a partial reduction, though not exactly in the way I intended. I can't say I know why it does that, as this is the first I've heard of it doing that.
and then multiple rings customized increases the amount to three, if you have MCM you can have as many as you choose (I think)
as for the feeding issue, I would either just get my sneak up or use vampire seduction of a awake person, then you can feed on them. (just don't feed if your detected by someone else or they will TRY to kill you) if you have dawnguard then just find a vampire cattle, or spawn one with the console command by typing: help cattle, and then you will be given the command for one and just type: player.placeatme <console command>
hope this was helpful :)
