@Vegard to change the background, locate this file path:
[DRIVE]:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Scrap Mechanic\Data\Textures\Gui
Then you want to replace the existing image with your own using the exact same file name and resolution (512x512)

To change thumbnail altogether, you want to install this program:
https://github.com/TechnologicNick/SteamChangePreview
This will replace everything in the thumbnail to whatever you want it to be. Have a good day! :steamhappy:

How do you upload with a custom thumbnail with the new mod tool? All the tutorials I've found use the old one.

As soon as I lay eyes on this creation I felt a deep earthquake in my sould. Somehow this truck showed me somehting about myself I would have never realized. It perfectly captures the essence of how we as individuals keep carrying weight around. Everyone of us has to carry something. But once we set ourselves free of that weight, we are free. Free to speed across the road of life. Somehow that made me realize that I was carrying too much weight along and I simply should not. Thus this truck cured all my problems. 10/10 would recommend.
