do the controllers need to be specifically xbox 360? i have a hyperkin xenon one but i'm not sure if it will be a good substitute?

By far the best Splitscreen mod, other mods always add extra buttons on the main menu, but this one is just the PLAY OFFLINE CO-OP button (and the PLAY SINGLE PLAYER button), that I prefer because I like the default main menu.
