ok, i made a mistake. i thought i can use ring without shattered ring origin, that why i cant use.
how do you know im Chinese? my bad grammar?

@Libra: Are you playing with a language other than English?

It works correctly in English, but in other languages, it'll show "shattered_ring_sol_start_NAME" instead of "Shattered Ring Sol".

Looking at your profile, I assume you're playing in Chinese, so I added text for the Chinese version. It's English text, but hopefully that's better than nothing.

Sorry man, you do updated. but still not working.
It shows: shattered_ring_sol_start_NAME
this is the only mod i'm using, so there shouldn't be incompatible with other mod

Yup, I'll take a look at it Friday or Saturday.

Paradox made some changes to Sol, so I just need to be sure nothing in this mod will mess with the stuff they added.

It's not available in 3.8, update please (●'◡'●)

It doesn't spawn the adjacent stars.

But that's not the purpose of this mod.

If you choose the ordinary Shattered Ring system and just name your star Sol, the game won't recognize your Sol as humanity's Sol. You might end up with the UNE, human primitives, or the cockroach primitives somewhere in your galaxy.

This mod adds a Shattered Ring Sol starting system that places the "this is the Sol system" flag that prevents a duplicate Sol from being generated.

Does it spawn the appropriate star systems around? Alpha Centauri etc. Otherwise all this subbing to this does is change the star type. Which you can do via console anyway.
