@Flawless as far as i know...
Richie  [author] Jun 15 @ 6:49am
@andrewjameswhite2011 When the water stabilizes from adjusting. i've had some but rare where that kept happening to me.
Flawless Jun 15 @ 4:12am
is this mod still usable?
andrewjameswhite2011 Mar 16 @ 4:12pm
is there any way to fix the drowning problem? i have a very narrow beach and it keeps giving me the flooding sign
SonOfTheWiddow Feb 9 @ 12:59pm
Great addition to the game! Once you understand that the terrain needs to be very flat it's easy to use!
Stefaanos Oct 26, 2024 @ 6:01am
Very simple but functional and good beach park. Also very populair, a bit too many people markers. But no worries my nice creator and fellow users, with the MOD BOB you can limit the markers. And so limit the trafic towards this very popular beach. Still my thanks!

@Planky there is a way, someone explains in the comments below. i haven't played in a long time. i couldn't help with that. try my other asset Special Event Templates up above, it has better values...
Planky Oct 10, 2024 @ 3:15am
is there a way to edit the values? This improved the land value too much in my city
Richie  [author] Aug 9, 2024 @ 2:51am
@I'd rather be sleeping thank you. people have said that the property values were too high. so if you seem to have too much traffic try my 'Special Event Template' asset up above. it has more options and sizes with closer to normal property values.
I'd rather be sleeping Jul 24, 2024 @ 1:41pm
thank you for an amazingly fun asset to play with! cims come from near and far - from practically every edge of the map 🤭 to get some simulated tan at my Riverbend beach! i am having a literal hundreds of hours of fun with these. so thank you for sharing!!
Richie  [author] Apr 14, 2024 @ 6:07am
@Kopter i haven't change anything to the asset...
Richie  [author] Apr 14, 2024 @ 6:07am
@Smib7 i'm confused because i could have sworn that this info was included in description up above. i haven't played in months. and i would have to familiar myself with the game again. but other posters have stated that it can be done with MODS. i thing it was mentioned 'BOB' mod can adjust a lot of things in game. also check my asset 'Special Event Template' up above. it has more choices of sizes and in game specs are closer to normal than this one.
notauseranymore Apr 14, 2024 @ 1:40am
Did this asset change name to "New asset"?
Smib7 Apr 13, 2024 @ 3:22pm
Thanks for the great asset. Is there a way to adjust the entertainment value instead of 500?
Richie  [author] Feb 28, 2024 @ 2:04pm
@Pizzaguy well yes. it is a beach but it doesn't have to be. if you look at the pictures up above you'll see i put them in different settings... also check out my 'special event templates' up above that has more options.
Pizzaguy Feb 25, 2024 @ 5:48pm
is the asset supposed to be built partially in the water
Zattom Jan 31, 2024 @ 6:59am
Still incredible in 2024. Thanks so much
Richie  [author] Nov 28, 2023 @ 7:43am
@Main ******* that is correct. those umbrellas were not my creation. whoever created them, textured/colored the cell. so you would now have to change it to whatever texture/color manually. where if the creator left it as default it would be the texture/color of the map's theme. that's why i didn't tex/color it.
Shomudi Nov 20, 2023 @ 6:33am
The beach is fine, but the props like umbrellas have a different color surface below them.
Surface painter lets you put the right color over these patches.
Richie  [author] Nov 19, 2023 @ 10:38am
@udishomer i'm glad you've solved your color problem. but as i said, the beach should have been the color of whatever your theme is. if you look at all the pictures, up above that i've added, you'll see i applied all types of textures to the map and the beach texture/color changed with it. :steamhappy:
Shomudi Nov 15, 2023 @ 5:21am
I found the solution: using the Surface Painter mod to give these patches the right color.
Richie  [author] Nov 13, 2023 @ 2:00pm
@udishomer i didn't texture the beach so it should be whatever texture that is applied to the map. whatever the theme should be the color of the beach.
Shomudi Nov 6, 2023 @ 11:31am
When I placed this "beach park" over a brown sand beach, it created many round green spots.
Can't add a picture here, but it looks like a few rows of evenly separated green spots painted on the sand.
Perhaps its because the beach is not real sand but only painted over a green surface, and the "beach park" has spots which remove the surface paint?
Richie  [author] Sep 27, 2023 @ 3:52pm
@Angelhearth i don't remember any crime issues. so i'm assuming mods had something to do with that. there are mods to control stuff like that if you are just into creating cities and not worry about a lot of the game issues. haven't played in a while so not sure which mods are for what anymore.
Angelhearth Sep 22, 2023 @ 6:39am
And then it wasn't so great anymore. I attached it to a pedestrian road, which worked fine for a while, until the crime rate spiked. I checked the editor, but there is no way, as I can see, to set crime rate to 0. Is there any other way?
trexman2086 Sep 9, 2023 @ 1:10pm
thanks now i can drown even more people in tsunamis
Zirrah Sep 9, 2023 @ 7:00am
so simple and so cool! I love it!
Savage Feast Sep 6, 2023 @ 8:29am
@Chad that's a different mod all together, it's called Parkify.

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1393452031&searchtext=parkify

It allows you to build on paths, however it only works in park zones.
(In the past i recall it just working without park zones, so maybe thats a setting.)
Richie  [author] Jul 29, 2023 @ 2:29pm
@Castor Troy, not sure but if you have the DLC parks, i think you can place it within a park district. i have the parks dlc for the Xbox and there was a little more flexibility with placing, but can't remember the requirements.
Lance Uppercut Jul 29, 2023 @ 8:20am
@Richie two dollars twenty used your asset in his latest video (Sunset City 31) but when he was placing it he was able to place it next to a path rather than a road, how did he do that? He said he needed to create a park first, I tried that but I still have to place it roadside.
master_kaina Jul 21, 2023 @ 2:48pm
Is there a reason why nobody has created any actual citizens in beach attire? It would be cool to have at least a few surfers in board shorts, bikinis, &/or wetsuits.
ICE_nice Jul 21, 2023 @ 3:35am
Amazing mod, thanks :er_wave:
Lance Uppercut Jul 20, 2023 @ 1:26am
Thanks for the excellent mod. I wanted a more deserted vibe so as you and others suggested I lowered the probability of the large hang out markers appearing using BOB to reduce the number of people, then I created a local copy with far reduced values for entertainment, then I made a road to the beach that cannot be accessed by pedestrians. Works beautifully.
Vermilion Jun 29, 2023 @ 3:18am
cheers bruv!
Richie  [author] Jun 28, 2023 @ 4:22am
@Vermilion here is an asset that has props citizens in proper swimming wear. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2986098004

@Vermilion , they, do, appear to be swimming when they go under water. although, most people do just stand in the water.
Vermilion Jun 23, 2023 @ 11:11pm
