Mod doesn't work with 1.8. I haven't been on Vic 3 for a while, but update 1.9 is looking good so I'm looking to do a mod update for that when it's out

I've got a bug where the illuminations tech isn't present on the tech tree for most nations so military tech can't be advanced at all

A small update with some bug fixes:

- Fixed bug not where channeler HQs were not buildable
- Fixed buggy state modifiers that caused crashes
- Removed the DLC vanilla paper maps as theme options

Getting a weird bug where some states will have a state modifier that's just a red face of varying expressions and if I hover over it the game crashes.

- Compatible with vanilla version 1.7.5, including integration of power blocs, lobbies, subject interactons, new building ownership and more
- Expanded the map to include Seanchan
- Added trolloc pops and Myrddraal characters. Unified under The Shadow in the 3rd age and will raid the Borderlands. Present in 4th age as a roadblock to collnising the Blight.
- Added Ogier Stedding and related events
- Changed raken good into Seanchan Exotics good- can now be used in battle and as a pop need
- Added Organic Oil good and Olive Groves building
- Seanchan unlikely to make first aggressive move in 4th Age
- Added custom AI logic for diplomatic plays relating to Dragon's peace and other mod mechanics
- Made some powerful vanilla character interactions harder to use
- Added diplomatic action for Dragons Peace protector to request military access from a member
- Expanded on succession crisis mechanics, added diplo plays to claim throne

hey hope the work on the mod is going well. just wanted to let you know i really appreciate the work, it's impossible to find things wot related in games, this is by far one of my favorite mod projects for any game. Thanks for all the good times!

It isn't possible to reopen bore yet no. But extending the tech timeline into the future and adding dark one mechanics is on my list to do, so maybe one day!

- Compatible with vanilla version 1.6.2
- Added a new "sandbox" bookmark set in the third age for those who want to avoid spoilers (includes no specific events/mechanics yet)
- Added a game rule for technology progress (on, off, slower or faster)
- Added rubber to the madlands. Also added synthetic rubber for the late game
- Some AI strategy tweaking
- Added a Dragon policy addressing the economy
- Added localist ideologies for Murandy/Arad Doman

It's not quick, but the best advice I can give is start small and go step by step. So first get a heightmap working in the map editor, then start adding a handful of provinces, etc
I found the CK3 wiki actually to be the best source of help:

Hey, how did you figure out how to change the map so thoroughly? I've been slamming my head against the editor for 2 days now and only really know how to change the coastline and object layers; I can't work out how to change provinces/states/rivers/disappointed parental figures/etc, and YouTube doesn't seem to have much available.

It seems like Traveling should allow troops to get to any front if they have a channeler. Perhaps as a mobilization option?

Got a crash right after some nation was about to modify the Dragon's Peace. Lemme know if you want the crash log, I'll try playing again and see if it crashes.

- Added the Land of the Mad Men as a colonisable land. Associated journal entry and mechanics to do with the remnant Insane Channelers and xenophobic population
- Expanded Dragon's Peace mechanics. Including an organisation policy that can ultimately establish a central bureacracy, and the possibility to impose sanctions. Made reform slightly easier.
- Added a hydroelectric dam building, buildable in only certain states
- Many other fixes and tweaks

@knuckey333 not really a particular nation and pretty early. there isn't a obvious source and once you restart the game everything is fine until the next crash.

I have noticed a problem. When changing production methods in the barracks and channeler headquarters, you cant see the effect it will make.

@GhostMedic that is intentional so that it is harder to gain artillery/dragons if you don't already have them. There is a journal entry where you can either obtain the tech via diplomacy, or else steal it.
