Yes, that is the purpose of the mod, to only give you fines when there is a squad car or a speed camera present, like in real life.
If you uninstalled the mod and then you are getting fined normally, it's exactly what it's supposed to happen.

I didn't go out of my way to do that but ever since I uninstalled the mod, jumping signals, even without a squad car present is correctly fining me. I've had this mod installed for a very long time, but I'd stopped playing after the 1.50 update. Just came back to the game after 1.55 (when it was still in beta) and throughout 1.55, I never had a single fine despite breaking rules.

@Legion_five: Have you tried the offenses when there is a police car present?

I don't know why but this mod just doesn't work anymore. I mean it works in the sense that there are no fines in-game for anything at all. It's as if I'd unchecked the Fines option in the game settings but it's checked on.

Rocky jet....LOL...I mean in the game, the AI stop then turn right on red without getting fined. But you get fined in the vanilla version, if you do. It's happened twice.... With this mod, you don't get fined for turning right on red. As it should be...... And yes, living in Pittsburgh Steeler Country.

Nice job on the Mod...LOL...It seems like everybody wants to run red lights.... I don't like the idea of stopping at a red light, then turning right on red. And getting fined if there's a police car present. The AI trucks and cars are always turning right on red... Don't think there is a way to fix that...

Might have to grab this when this is tweaked. I play without Traffic Offense just due to the fact you get dinged for crap other drivers do. (95 mph down I-35 from Kasemo to Laredo)

Yo mod works well with fines and stuff but i basicallly stopped pulling into any weight stations, even though it says 50%, i can bypass all. It's not mandating me to pull into any weigh station. Is this normal?

Is there a way you could do a version that turns off the headlight fine. I run some weather and time-of-day mods and it's annoying to getting headlight fines when it's broad daylight out. I don't want to turn off fines entirely but this one is a bit aggravating.

@The Ritalin Commando: Fines have been adjusted to California traffic laws.
IMHO fines are too low in the game. Consider that IRL a trucker that works moving cargo can get his license revoked for too many offenses.

I love this mod but I think the fines still need adjusting. I just got a fine for over $1000 for 11 over the speed limit. I would drop them to 1/2 to 1/3 what they are. They'd still be a little high but they should be significant.

Nope, I was driving in Texas and every time I run a red light I get fine.

this mod looks awesome, I'll give it a try. I get tired of when the speedlimit changes by 10, 15, 20, or 25mph and theres a cop behind me and right as I pass the speedlimit sign I get fined some 2 grand like I'm supposed to slam on my brakes and start a 40 car pile up while carrying 40k lbs of dynamite.
