I am happy to hear that :)
Now that this mod works, can I delete the copy mod?
Help my mods are missing! (Kenshi > Modding > Topic Details)
As a last struggle, I made a renamed copy mod of Little Garden.
→ Little Garden+
Of course, it would be better to consult moderators, but could you try unsubscribing Little Garden and subscribing to Little Garden+?
That's weird. I can see Little Garden in my mod list when I subscribe it.
So, I think the Steam Client may have some issues.
Try unsubscribing this mod, restart Steam Client (or your PC), and re-subscribe this mod.
Sadly, I cannot help you further if it does not work. You should consult the moderators in the Steam Forum.
After checking the mod, I found that the Garden Cushion was not set orient-fixed despite having a direction marker.
I fixed it and updated the mod.
Thank you for the reporting and trying my mod!
So for some reason no matter where I rotate the garden cushion, the characters always face the same direction. Not sure how to fix this issue.
I think my only complaint is the lack of wear and tear on some items so it sticks out a little too much when trying to combine it with vanilla assets.
I hope to see more from you in the future!
I am relieved to hear that :)
Thank you again for the feedback!
This is one of my favourite decorative mods so I will gladly give it a go and see how it goes.
Thank you for the reporting.
I suspect a setting of tatami mats called "Path Mode" caused the pathing issue. As a quick tweak, I set the "Path Mode" of the tatami to "IGNORE" from "PROJECTED" so PCs can ignore the hitbox and go through the tatami mats.
Due to this change, player characters' feet may sink into tatami mats a little, but it is better than invisible walls.
Could you try it?
As for my second story they work totally fine and I am using 18a, and then downstairs it does not work and I am also using 18a, as well as the one that is a single and a double.
Thank you for letting me know. The pathfinding near doors and gates is always troublesome. Maybe there is no complete solution, but your comment can help others.
By the way, using wood partitions as wall lining sounds good :)
Thank you for trying my mod!
Without your report, I would not have recognized that the fake functionality could be annoying. Now, I plan to make a similar patch mod for the Campfire with Stand because the mod uses the same fake functionality.
Thank you again for giving helpful information!
For now I could not reproduce the issue, but your report indicates that "fake functionality" seems suspicious.
I made a mod to remove that fake functionality as a temporary measure.
→ Little Garden Fake Func Removal
Would you mind trying it?
Thank you for reporting.
Most of the furniture added by this mod is just decorative items. The only furniture that has real inventory space is the sake barrels.
As for interactive icons, the small objects, such as sake bottles and teacups, are hard to select when on the table. So, I added a "fake functionality" that displays a gear icon when a cursor is placed on decorative objects.
→ Example Image
The fake functionality itself does nothing. When you right-click an object with fake functionality and select " Inventory," the character's inventory window will open, but nothing more.
And I really hate those customers who first cry 'bout a mod being broken, then just be like "Oh, no matter, I fixed it..." without any further explanation, and never comment again.
Thank you for reporting, and I'm glad to hear your game is functioning correctly now. I genuinely appreciate your taking the time to solve this issue. Your report will help others to solve future CTD issues!
For reference :
I received a report about the Beak Thing Statue mod, similar to the CTDs you experienced in the building menu. In that case, the auto-icon generation process was suspicious. So I made icon images beforehand and included them in the mod folder, and then the CTD stopped.
Edit: Just checked, only downloaded empty folders, no meshes or materials inside them. Seems to be a steam issue; had to unsubscribe/re-subscribe twice to get it to download all the assets, now it seems it's working fine.
To make the scale variations, copy a bridge and change its scale as you like.
→ Image 3
I would build several bridges in parallel to make a fat(wide) bridge.
Thank you for trying my experimental mod.
Map features are interesting, but I've got no knowledge about them, really. Nice. I would settle for a duplicated and scaled building object lol
The bridge construction in Kenshi is an intriguing topic. The ideal approach is making new meshes, collisions, and textures for the large bridge from scratch. But unfortunately, I cannot gather that level of willpower nowadays.
But the topic is too good not to try. I made an experimental mod for big, flat garden bridges.
The first type is a simple copy of Garden Bridge II (no railings), but the sizes are ×2.0 and ×4.0. → Image 1
As for the scaling option, Kenshi's building mode does not allow it.
So, the second type is not a BUILDING but an object called MAP_FEATURE.
You have to go through complicated steps to use MAP_FEATURE.
But you can change the scale of the feature. → Image 2
@Shir Blackwater
Like vanilla Campfire, the new objects do not generate the player's outpost themselves. But if you build them near your existing outpost, they can change the boundary of the outpost.
Nice wotk though, will definitely use these either way.
