I wish I was able to make my robots spiritualist. I don't see why those would be mutually exclusive, you could program a computer to believe in anything.

I'm having the same issue of no trait picks and also all the portraits have doubled for me in the Robotic section.

is there still being worked on? Robotic races on the creation screen do not have any base trait picks, like how normal races have 3 and machines have 2

It seems to work fine with vanilla portraits, I think Exo was asking about modded portraits.

The mod files contain a text file explaining a method of essentially manually patching other modded races or future vanilla ones to the mod, but I haven't been able to get it working so far.

@Exocomp @Minedwe I will look into it as soon as I can (probably within the month). My PC was kaput for a month and I just got my replacement. This mod was never one I was fully aware of how it all worked, I just tried my best to update the original so we'll see what I can do. Was this with the vanilla portraits? It should only work with those.

@Exocomp I think you can, using the method described in a test file in the mod, add modded races to it, but I tried it and it appears to not work for whatever reason (although maybe I just screwed it up, or maybe it requires modifying the files for the other mod too). I'll keep trying to get it working though.

@Exocomp I have the same issue, I think it might be a thing with either newer updates or with modded robotic portraits. Do you get the same issue with vanilla robot portraits?

i cant get this mod to work at all. traits go red when i select the origin, and says "Mechanical requires one of the following Species Archetypes: Robotic"

Even with Robotic Civilization origin picked, it still says i need Machine Intelligence, which in turn requires Gestalt Conciousness, and that would make this mod meaningless at the moment.

How do I fix this?

I'm using this mod in a game (with many other mods), and I can't seem to allow Synths to take Ruler jobs -- not even after Synth Ascension, which means it becomes a serious problem.

When I use this mod, there's no policy choice to set AI from servitude to citizen rights.

I've been thinking - there is an old mod (playable Robots) that has a lot of new robot potraits (recolored Contingency corrupted robot portraits).
I couldn't find those portraits in a standalone mod anywhere. Could you make that mod? All the content is already in that outdated mod, and I'm sure many people would want it

@Robcartree none of the updates are technically required, as far as I know, but you will be unable to use any portraits from any mods you don't own. Synthetic Dawn is the most important as it adds the most robot stuff.

Hi! I have been using the original mod (still do), and I would like to ask you if you could make a version without the ascention perks? I use it only for my own premade AI empires and I don't want them to have potentially wacky ascention decisions.
