@The Renegade, thank you for providing the information. I have made the necessary update to the mod by including the "dynasty = generate" line. This modification aims to resolve the issue related to household generation.

I wanted to confirm if this is the change you were referring to and if it aligns with your expectations. Previously, you mentioned placing the line in the hidden_effect section, which would limit its application to cultures specifically improving knights. Instead, I decided to place it in the Create Character creation section so that it will apply to all created characters, regardless of their culture or specific knight-related improvements.

the "dynasty = generate" line should be added in the random_pool_character, the following else and if (specifically in hidden_effect) statements.

@The Renegade, thank you for providing a detailed explanation. I appreciate your understanding. I will make sure to examine the issue more closely when I have the opportunity. Currently, my real-life commitments are keeping me quite busy, which means I haven't been able to thoroughly test the mod for compatibility with the 1.9 update. However, I did manage to address the regent change. I will make it a priority to investigate the household generation problem you've described. Thank you again for bringing it to my attention.

Prior to 1.9, everyone married a person who belonged to a generated household. That is no longer the case, every generated spouse without fail is a peasant (no household generated). The prowess and stats don't appear to have changed and seem to work as intended. It's just the household generation that doesn't appear to work anymore, so many courtiers are producing offspring without houses/dynasty to benefit from.

In the past, the mod consistently generated peasants or courtiers with a prowess of 12 or higher for marriage purposes. It would be helpful to understand what specific changes or differences you have observed since the 1.9 update. No idea why, but ever since 1.9 update, this no longer generates knights but peasants to marry.

Would love a version of this mod that tries to match them to existing Knights instead of generating knights for me for free, seems kind of OP.

Great mod, though maybe a game rule for the minimum prowess? I'd love to be able to choose a bit higher, while some might find it a bit cheaty.

Please also exclude concubines, since they are not considered wives, I find them married and if they are already married or if you use mods that increase their number, the event is...launched with 20 lover concubines, 7 of whom are kidnapped, chasing me with pitchforks

@Sanosuke, I agree that this mod can be overpowered in certain situations. For instance, if you're playing as a custom ruler with Roman culture and Greco-Roman religion, you may not be able to marry off your courtiers at all. This is because other rulers may have strong hate modifiers towards pagan religions, making it difficult for you to initiate marriage interactions. However, in most cases, this mod provides a convenient solution for marrying off courtiers. The prowess value of 12 was chosen in line with the "Invite Knights" decision.

it is not really op you could be doing the same thing and get even better knights it just saves you the hassle of doing it manually. I dont know why ppl like you comment stuff that are just false. If you micro everything is broken in this game this just helps like converting everyone in your realm or other similar mods

@DrachenEngel The mod does not take into account the martial gender, but does take into account the cultural tradition for knights. Regardless of gender, eligible bachelors or bachelorettes will have a minimum prowess of 12. I hope this explanation helps.

Again, thanks for all the detailed explanations about the Paradox AI marriage system. I like the mechanics of your mod - I haven't hit any bugs that I know of. The mod leaves me kind of torn though. On the one hand, it's great to be able to automate courtier marriages and I like the way your mod presents the decision (although it would be interesting if there was a way to choose which specific courtiers in the pop up would actually marry). On the other hand, I worry about mods like this overpopulating the game, especially in comparison to the AI courts. In some ways, it might be more immersive to leave your basic courtiers unmarried - sort of role playing that their spouses and children, if any, are not actually your courtiers. But your mod is good because it gives you the option in a very elegant way. So Thanks!

@curtwine It's unlikely that AI rulers will arrange marriages between their non-family courtiers and existing in-game characters. The AI's marriage interactions primarily focus on their own family. Additionally, not all landed characters can marry and start a family. Only non-lowborn barons are eligible for marriage. Even if a suitable bachelor/bachelorette is not found, Paradox will simply generate a pool character for them. Courtier marriages can significantly increase the number of characters in the game and slow it down, making it unlikely that AI rulers will prioritize such marriages. Instead, AI rulers generally populate their court by recruiting guests, and the randomized pool development effect is applied to these guests upon arrival. Looking forward to hear your feedback!

Thanks for your detailed response. I believe I understand what you are saying. The one remaining question I have is whether the AI rulers ever marry their non-family courtiers off to existing in-game characters or whether their courts are just randomly populated by Paradox periodically using the method you described. I am going to give your mod a try in-game. I will provide more feedback/bug reports as I play with it. Thanks!

@curtwine First, thank for the feedback. To clarify, this mod does not apply to AI rulers. The "Paradox courtier marriage system" refers to Paradox's code for pool character development, which creates background characters such as courtiers and guests. This system affects pool characters' development when they arrive as guests or while they are in the pool. However, it will not generate characters for existing courtiers to marry unless they leave your court. The pool character development applies to both player and AI, but your courtiers will not be married off by the system unless you take action yourself.

I like the idea of this mod, but I have two questions: First, will this mod apply to AI rulers, and second, what is the "Paradox courtier marriage system?" Does the Paradox courtier marriage system also generate characters for existing courtiers to marry? And if so, does that only apply to the AI rulers or will the Paradox system also eventually marry off your courtiers if you don't take action yourself? Sorry I am asking all these questions, but this is something I have always wondered about and I have not come across the answer before.
